Am I the only one who doesn’t really know who Andrew Tate is? I’ve looked him up a couple of times before but can’t really work out why he’s famous, apart from he seems to be a particularly distasteful prat.

I said at the time of the election and I haven’t changed my mind much. Starmer isn’t in any way inspiring but he’s clearly an intelligent man which makes him stand well above the three before him and what’s opposite him now, just because he shows a semblance of relative competence. And that’s with Labour making what can best be described as a poor start to governance.

Agreed. He just needs to leave. I refuse to believe that the club haven’t got replacement options waiting for a call. Get Martin out, it seems to be toxic now and Martin himself looks all out of energy and motivation. Give it to someone like Lallana or one of the coaches for the Liverpool game, get that out of the way, then start again with a new fella, ideally with a contract to end of the season with an option to renew if it isn’t a complete disaster.

All of those players you listed have played in the premier league before this season. So, no, we are perhaps not the best club they can play for. Nonsense to suggest they categorically won’t play there again after we get relegated. Especially Archer, who has just turned 23. And ‘coverted’ isn’t a word. At least not in English.
