Liverpool sell well, annoyingly, that's something they're good at - they may spend £450 million odd this summer but so far they've also recouped £200 million. They also didn't spend much at all last season, and they need to future proof for when Salah retires. And they lost Jota, though a morbid thought, I'm not sure if they get an insurance payout for him. I hate defending Liverpool but I actually think their business has been superb and they must be shoe ins for the Champions League - god help us all.

Close, I still think Smallbone goes and Taylor stays, purely because of Welington's injury, even though we now have Jelert (still primarily a right back) alongside Manning. Plus his versatility and experience could be key. Edozie I'm surprised that hasn't been sorted yet, he's been linked with an exit for what seems like weeks. It's not like we've kept him until now because we didn't have replacements. We've seen players head off to Turkey after our window closes in the past so even if we don't ship the unwanted lot out tomorrow, it could still happen to one of the countries that still have their windows open (and Interestingly the Belgian window is open until the 8th).

Numbers-wise I still want another CM as I think we're light with 3 but beyond Scienza and Jelert, we're there. That's numbers-wise, not quality-wise, where we can all see the positions that can be upgraded. However our recent transfer activity does at least show that our transfer decision making has got better. You can only look at Spors for that. Hopefully come January we have one or two lined up that improve the team and that aren't panic signings.

We need a left winger as competition for Jay and Fraser (who can also play on the right as back up for Fellows), and we just loaned out BBD and will shortly sell Edozie. We've also been heavily linked. I can't see why this wouldn't happen.

Assuming Jelert is done, IMO we need one more left winger/AM and I think we need another CM as I mentioned during the game. 2 signings to make the squad whole. Ship out Aribo, Edozie, Smallbone, Bree and BBD. 5 out. Yes we need upgrades in a few positions but that will have to do until January.

No chance of either sadly. Baz is our number 1 or we wouldn't have brought Long in and we already have 5CBs. With Fellows, Jander and Azaz and hopefully one or two more we will get a change in formation so hopefully by the end of the International break we can see if Still has sorted it.
