Highlighted it for you. 😜

I quite like Russ and Saints we’re always in for a hiding this season and likely relegation candidates but after 4 straight losses you have to start thinking about how long the board will tolerate him. Yes Burnley and Luton stood by their managers last season but I don’t think that will happen with us this season. A few more bad results and he’ll be gone. Luckily for him we have Everton, Ipswich and Bournemouth next. Anything less than 6 points and he’s in trouble.

Never has a sending off United the fan base quite as much… I don’t mind Stephens, he’s an honest pro but we have better CBs. Hopefully like with his injury last season we could see an improvement defensively.

I think we will grow into the season. Lose a few, draw a few then win on the last day. 😊

Ladbrokes have us at 45 to 1 to win. Cheeky thousand stuck on. #blindoptimism

We'll get our money back and more assuming he's going to be facing dozens of shots every game.

I’ve turned TNT Sports off, deleted the app, turned my phone off, smashed my phone up, put my phone in the bin, taken the bin bag out, burned the bin bag, scooped up the ashes and buried the ashes in the ground. I then peed on the ashes and a flower grew. I then kicked the shit out of the flower. It’s a long road back from here, penalty miss changed the game. Please God not another 9 nil…
-
Ok game over then

A striker should step up for pens and he had to wait for ages but it should have been better. well United score. Didn’t take our chance, 1 nil down. Still not over.

Shit poor Archer.

SNSUN is an idiot. Here I am watching a dodgy stream at work that keeps buffering when I have TNT Sports on Discovery + on my phone. Bellendry of the highest order. Penalty Saints! Lovely Dibling

Although he did drop 2 of his favourites today which is progress.

Decent save Ramalamadingdong (The Edsels) United creeping back in. Defensively it's interesting as we struggled defensively last season with the back 4 and that's why we went 3 CBs but with Les and Suga added we should be tighter. I much prefer the 4 at the back than 3 CB though.
-
My stream is buffering like a beeyatch. But from what I gather, we're doing well.

Dibling is truly the bollocks

Good job they listed Taylor after Harwood-Bellis or it'd look like we only named 8 subs. 😁

Love it. Love. It. Probably still lose but that's positive. I even agree with the decision of Stephens over THB seeing as THB hasn't started the season brilliantly and has also just played for the U21s. That's got to be close to our best team.
-
Plus if we stay up, we can upgrade and we have a decent third/fourth choice CB.
-
I hope this spells the start of other contract renewals. #kwpwatch

Deserved that after last season. Is he upgradable? Yes, you could argue THB has a higher ceiling and ABK if he stays is a better defender but after his performances last year he's deserved the extension. More importantly even if we go down we have a strong complement of centre backs that aren't going anywhere.

I've just woken up but BL was confusing me until I eventually worked it out.

I'd like to think Russ would stop too much of the tippy tappy stuff at the back but...

Makes sense when we brought in BBD, Fraser and Cornet. (And so far have kept Edozie who I prefer anyway). Sulemana was always too raw for the money we paid for him.

A quick glance at the table even this early in the season (which I know you shouldn't do yet but still) and you can see the clubs currently in the bottom 6 may be the ones likely to be in a relegation battle. Palace have only played twice of course and they probably have enough quality to be OK, so really (pending points deductions elsewhere) you are looking at a bottom 5: Us, Everton, Ipswich, Leicester and Wolves. There may be a surprise team that drops later in the season but in my mind that bottom 5 or 6 already are the teams we're up against to fight for survival.
