Yep the club are arguing the expulsion is extreme for the crime. I can't see it making a blind bit of difference though.
-
Maybe if we bring in Roy Keane we could keep THB... š
-
It's a very real concern. It's a worst case scenario but nonetheless a real concern. Getting expelled from the final was also a worst case scenario but not many people actually expected it to happen. A lot of our future is dependant upon what investment we have going foward. Dragan and Kat may want out. Who comes in then?

That's so weird. I was just thinking about him earlier. Not in a sexual way.
-
We need to rebuild our reputation, as does Liam Rosenior. Just saying.
-
We've seen SISU screw Coventry and the Venkys screw Blackburn and even though I never liked SR, I often felt it could be worse. Then we had the 2026 resurgence and I started to think maybe they knew what they were doing. Then this. It would be poetic if Kat Liebherr becomes our saviour.
-
I can only assume loss of earnings (potential promotional wage rises etc). Athletic have already said they may take legal action so there's clearly some sort of reason to do so. They've busted a gut for nothing. Besides I wouldn't trust SR to get anything right at the moment.

We got promoted with Russ and he didn't need spying. Bring him home! š
-
Now if only Spurs could kindly get fucking relegated to take the heat off us a tad, that would be swell.
-
Boro employed a top football lawyer as soon as this happened. They played it perfectly. We appear to be somewhat inept and run by cretins.

The Saints media team are going to have a hell of a job putting a positive spin on anything over the summer, but I'm sure they'll manage it. Hope they cut season ticket prices as penance for the fans. But I won't hold my breath.
-
If that happens I'll get a tattoo of Parsons kissing Will Salt on my bumcheek. I think I'm safe.
-
Depends how any legal action goes by the players to the club. I can't blame any of them for wanting out over the summer. Of course we'll sign players, but it depends on who even owns us. There's a lot to sort out with the ownership and management of the club before we can even think of signing players. Wish I could just sleep until September and see what state we're in then. Shambles.

The club have been stringing the fans along for months. Sack them all. Pompey might have Michael Eisner but we are the Mickey Mouse club.
-
I wouldn't blame them. They've busted their arses to get to where they ended up. And they probably have promotion clauses that they will now not get. I wouldn't be surprised if the first team looked very different next season. If I were a season ticket holder even I'd be looking at doing something, even if it's ultimately pointless. The fans have been wronged too and they spend a lot of money each season supporting their club only for this to happen.
-
I'd guess the club haven't said anything yet because of the appeal. We'll hear from them tomorrow for sure.
-
This is a good point and partly true, lack of promotion would see our better players leave but now we're in a different situation after cheating. Players may have gone in good faith after receiving good money for them but with a possibility they could stay if no bids came in as a we had a chance for automatics next season. Now we have a 4 point penalty and a reputation in tatters, players may actively want to leave us now. We'll see, I guess. I'm gutted because I'd love to have seen this side with a few good additions next season. Personally I think we go into next season still rebuilding the team... and that is never good for preparation when you need a quick start.

They took one look at Baz and threw as much money as they could at Johansson
-
I blame Leeds. Bastards did it first and we're paying for it. š
-
Strike partnership with Damion Downs.
-
Iām off out with my mate in Reading instead, He wanted a sesh in London but I want to avoid the place like a rash.
-
On the plus side, 4 point deduction but 8th place gets a play-off spot next season! š
-
Pep managed a club that evaded punishment for years. Perfect. š Seriously though it's too early to even name a manager I'd want right now. Sort the ownership situation out first.
