If it's the difference between safety and relegation at the end of the season it will have been worth every penny.

Nor mine but I did think he was at least articulate - as footballers go.
-
If we loan Ramsdale, that means resorting to Bazunu next season. If we buy Bijlow, we have genuine competition for Bazunu for the next couple of seasons or more. For me it's a no-brainer - Bijlow for the extended competition, but I think the club would rather bring in a loanee for the season - which means Ramsdale. Enjoy him for the short term I guess.

Ramsdale. Whether he fits Russball or not, he's clearly an upgrade on what we have. Yes please.
-
I see Abu Kamara has handed in a transfer request at Norwich after recent transfer speculation. Earlier in the summer there were reports Saints were linked iirc.

Can’t believe we haven’t signed anyone for 24 hours. What the actual piss are the club playing at!? We’re at least 11 players short of a title winning side.

I could change it to Marmite, it'd still be me doing the slathering.
-
I volunteer for the job.

But if we go down, can he do it on a cold, wet and windy night in Stoke? 😁
-
She's so thin, her necklace has slipped down. And pockets on bikinis? What will they think of next! (Does this officially make it more posts about Bijlow's missus than about Bijlow himself? 😁)

Fruits present: oranges, peaches and melons

Alex kicks the ball Straight to the Toon The whole club was looking at him Newcastle scored Next thing you know We get Bijlow-low-low-low-low-low-low-low

Another Juanmi, waste of wages. or Brilliant signing, this will push us forwards to becoming a stable a Premier League club again! Just getting a post in early for 2 years down the line… I’ll edit out whichever hasn’t applied in that time!😁 Seriously I know nothing of this player but it’s always telling when the club losing a player are gutted he’s gone… so welcome Mateus!

Just because I may not get another chance to say this... there's a player in there. 😁 But seriously I hope for his sake he settles there, his time here has been marred by bit part roles and relegation in a crazy team. Another player that fit the SR model of buying young talent in the hope they become a success. Sadly for Mara as we saw last season he's somewhat of a lazy player. This is good money for the club as we shape ourselves for the future by offloading the mistakes of the past.

Was glancing at the match thread on their forum during the first half, they really don't like most of their team or their new manager. Vardy doing Vardy things though and that's a pretty good point. Spuds lost their way in the second half but even more so after the Bentancur injury.
-
Leicester all over them now. Would be a blow for a potential relegation rival to pick up a point (or more) tonight, especially as they were shite in the first half.
-
Knowing Saints, we'd go for Jamie Vardy and end up with Jeremy Vardy, the plumber from Lancaster.
-
Spurs being Spursy. New season, same old Spuds.
-
And Stephens if he gets shoehorned in there.

Any Premier League team that starts a season with Vestergaard as their CB is asking for trouble.

Or a wider player for those games we need to stretch defences from wide positions. Edozie and Sulemana aren't the answer (even though they're still young enough to improve).
-
It's not the best if we want to try out some fringe players and youngsters but they did get spanked on Saturday so there's that. Not that Sunderland and Burnley was an easy start for them, but still...

Or the Nigel "The Relegator" Quashie derby. Sunk more clubs than Uncle Albert sank ships. 😀

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mateus_Fernandes_(architect) We should build the team around him.
