It's the cutting back in that annoys me with him. You're a right footed right winger, with a tall lad up front. Cross it in first time or try to pass the defender. He cuts inside a lot then doesn't seem to know what to do with it. Matsuki had done so well maybe we've been spoiled but I'd be looking to strengthen there in the summer.

Personally I think 2nd boils down to this: Saints win tonight, Millwall finish 2nd. Draw or Ipswich win and they finish 2nd. Of course that's simplifying it and there are lots of permutations including a win for us still giving us a slim chance but in essence I think those results are what seals what. So Millwall fans will be Saints fans tonight. Strong line up though, interesting to see how much we have left in the tank after Saturday.

Well as it stands he'll be the only senior GK on our books come the summer as Alex Mc and Jones' contracts are up and Long will go back. I'm hoping we sign Peretz as we have the option, Baz can be back up (and we pray all season Dan doesn't get injured or suspended!)

The most annoying thing about the second half of this season is knowing that now we've clicked and are playing excellent football, if we don't go up we lose players like Jander, THB, Scienza etc and have to start again. Give us another Championship season with Tonda and the current line up, with a couple of positions strengthened and Peretz and Larin on board and we'd be dead certs for 1st place next season. I really hope we go up even if it's through the play-offs so we can keep the team together and really try to make a dent in the Prem.

Not sure how the boys will recover for this, I wasn't even playing and every bone in my body is aching. What a statement win this would be though, whether we go up automatically or not. That said I really wouldn't be surprised to see a flat performance after today - but Tonda surely has an ace up his sleeve.

What a day. Took in the atmosphere and was sensible enough to stop drinking after 8 pints so I could enjoy the game. 😝 We completely nullified then in the first half, superb defending. It was basically attack vs defence. After the break they changed gear but we held strong. That opened up chances for us and Fellows really does need to learn when to just take a shit. Azaz's goal was typical Azaz and we were then angered the beast. They brought on all their big guns. They had to. The defeat could have been extra time but for that Gonzalez strike. Everyone worked their balls off, it would be remiss of me to pick out individuals. But if you point a gun at my wife and tell me to pick some, I'd let you shoot then I'd tell you my MOTM... Welington. He was blowing out his arse at the end but he deserves it, he was excellent. Mind you so were Peretz, Bree, Wood, THB, Jander (who came close), Bragg and Leo. Also...fuck VAR.
