  1. The positive latest news is in a sticky on the top of the forum. Oh, and Lallana's back. Hth.
  2. I don't watch it anymore. The highlights on the Beeb website are better.

    Fonte off?

This. With the inexperience of Martin and the lack of faith by supporters in Jaidi and Seaborne, it'd be a big loss. Ok, he can't go until January if it's true, and we'll bring in someone else, but finding a player of his quality to replace him will be nigh on impossible. That said, Jaids and Seebee kept a clean sheet today, although from the sounds of it that was more to do with Davis's saves.
  4. Bournemouth - League Cup.
  5. Big confidence boost here, Adkins must be as delighted as we are.
  6. Squeeky bum time, except for me, I unloaded before the game.
  7. wifm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. Twas the only wood I had nearby... WOOT
  9. Come on Saints, keep your back door closed lest Wednesday try and get in, a clean sheet would be luverlee. (tOuch WOod)
  10. Going for the second, that's all I can deduce by that performance. It'll either be genius or foolhardyness. I hope the former.
  11. God I hope we're not risking Lallana - lose him for the season and we are foooooooked.
  12. BORED!!! Will we EVER score?
  13. He never left, we're still waiting to sign him.
  14. Lee Barnard and Rickie Lambert are our only forward options at the moment, so Doble is making up the numbers. Would be good to see him get a chance though, not sure if that should be against Wednesday away though!
  15. I've been trying for months to get her to turn around, but I think I prefer this view. Come on Saints, I'll believe we can do this until we're shown otherwise...
  16. Just need that goal for confidence... I'll stroke Matt Le Tissier's nose for luck.
  17. COME ON YOU SAINTS!!!
  18. Right, I was up at 3am for work today, I should be taking my afternoon nap, but I'm staying awake to listen to this. Make it worth my while Saints, I've had my lucky dump so fingers crossed.

    Arcade

I seem to remember you guys saying the Arcade would be brought back once things with the new forum get sorted. Is that still the case? I miss having something to do with my pointless, boring life. (Especially when at work...) :-)
  20. In my old car, I used to smoke. Not too bad in itself, but one time whilst driving on the M4 I had the lighter in my back pocket; trying to get it out, I put both legs on one side of the steering wheel, then suddenly hit gridlock. Unable to reach the brakes, I fortunately had the hindsight to drive onto the hard shoulder, twas about half a mile before I stopped the car. I haven't smoked in a car since. I was constantly dropping my fag in my lap too, ruined a couple of pairs of trousers that way. People should be concentrating on the road in my opinion. Some things are acceptable, like drinking water or similar, but I agree with the Police on the use of mobile phones. Still, nearly everyday, I see people using their mobiles, and a lot of the time they're driving erratically. It doesn't cost much to buy a hands free kit - cheap bastards. My mum is a massive distraction when driving too - so I don't drive her anywhere anymore. One time she cried "look out" on a roundabout, despite the fact I was stationary and waiting for a gap in the traffic. She clings on to anything she can hold on to as well, dash board, grab handle, the back of the seat, it's most disturbing and it makes me nervous. I have been told on many occasions by my father, a retired traffic policeman, that I am a very safe driver, so God knows what my mum's problem is. Dappy old cow. I once saw a driver with a dog sitting on their lap. Ok, not multi-tasking per se, but it was a ****ing great big Dalmatian, so it must've been obstructing her view. It's not my air-bag of choice...
  21. It was "Smoothy" http://www.fart-sounds.net/fart_sound_board.htm
  22. I've been given about a million Orange magic numbers but I only know two other people on Orange so it defeats the object. I've been with Orange for years, Orange Wednesdays is a brilliant idea, and their customer service has been good, but it's true their reception is iffy, but getting better. My Desire sometimes takes a while to find web pages depending where I am. I'm sticking with Orange, but for somebody getting the Desire, I'd suggest Three or O2.
  23. Six, I sheet you not. Twas my next door neighbour. I also toungued her. Caroline her name was, she was older than me - I do believe I was acting on her command, and had no knowledge that what I was doing was sexual. I was a right little babe magnet at primary school, then I got sent to an all boys boarding school and the women ceased. (Fortunately they was no gheyness either. No seriously - I still make a sound when I fart.)
  24. I have the Desire. Tis a great phone, the internet is quick (when the reception is good, sadly on Orange it's not the best.) I have Panther 30 which is unlimited internet, emails and texts for £30 a month plus add ons. The Desire is a good looking phone, good internally and externally. My only quibble is the battery life - you will (if you're like me) probably use it a lot, looking at SWF and stuff, so the battery life will barely last a day, but I was so excited when I first got it that I didn't wait for it to charge up properly before using it, so that is probably my fault. The Apps are ok, I also have an iPod Touch, and I would say I prefer iTunes to the Android Market, but there's enough on there to keep you interested, and because Androind is multi-platform, I do think they'll overtake Apple for number of apps. You get more FREE apps with Android anyway, so that's a plus, but if I could go back to July when I bought it, I would consider getting the iPhone 4 instead. The camera is pretty decent though on the Desire, can't fault it. Needs more internal memory though, my phone's nearly full, although I haven't yet learnt how to put stuff on the SD card, so again, my fault. If you don't want an iPhone, which is the only other phone I'd go for, then you can't go wrong with the Desire. Quite a few reviews on the internet have the Desire down as the best phone on the market at the moment, and I would say that's pretty accurate.
