Did we score? Snigger

13 Forecast, 18 Dyer, 24 Lancashire, 34 White, 08 Wright-Phillips are the unused subs so far. I'd like to see Dyer get a run out. Fresh legs and pace...

How's Jack Cork doing, those of you listening to it?

Saints sign young Czech striker Tomas Pekhart on loan from Spurs
SNSUN replied to Wildgoose's topic in The Saints
According to the OS - "There was only one club Spurs wanted to send him to". Spin? Or are we really regarded that highly now that we've made the youth our number one priority? -
He came on at half time unless I'm reading something incorrectly...

I'm in the computer room at work (yes I'm supposed to be working), and it's sweltering in here. I was making do with 5Live ignoring us except when the goal went in, and now have given up and come on here. For the time being. 'Til my supervisor finds me anyway...

1-1 with a loss on penalties, but I'd love to see us win it in normal time. I just don't see Birmingham wanting the Carling Cup enough. Perhaps it's just me...

If we added a sell on clause and bought him back, we'd be giving ourselves money. ;-)
-
Bit premature saying that IMO.
-
We couldn't afford him - which while being the silver lining, is also intensely depressing.

Rate your bank holiday sunday..sponsered by hawkins voice

Friday - Very civilised but entertaining dinner with my missus, my best mate and his missus. Drove so couldn't drink, but appreciated sobriety more when seeing what wine does to people. 7/10 Saturday - Nice lunch followed by excellent Windsor races, the after race drinks marred by arguments and my missus going over on her ankle. 8/10 Sunday - Chilled out with some drinks and a DVD indoors. Kinda wish I'd gone out but was so tired by about 10pm I think we made the right decision. 6/10 Monday - Enjoyed my freedom before work today. 6/10 Overall probably 7/10, the overall rating pushed up by the fact that I spent £200 less than I thought I would. -
Eighteen points is entirely achievable IMO. Why rule it out, because we're not used to it? The next six games are all winnable, with the QPR away game being the one that sticks out as being the hardest. Heart says we can get 14 points, head says 12. Anything more than 10 and I will be content, though of course, being a Saints fan, I'm used to disappointment.

I was always suprised we'd sell Surman - good player, Saints fan and our best bet at left back currently, but I didn't know the asking price was £2.5 million. If we get that price again, I expect he'd be off. :-(

Yes, because we're Saints, and we always throw games away in the last minute. :-D

Oh I see! Well still, it wasn't the greatest fred ever... ...Overtired...

The Bank Holiday weekend Fred sponsored by SpanAir

I very much doubt I'll be staying for that, although it would be good. Alcohol would be calling me from various places in Windsor. We're going suited and booted in the expensive bit which we did last year. Some tasty, cocaine-taking ladies in there. -
Yeah I was at work and bored. ...and for some reason had that song in my head for a couple of days now...
-
What've you got planned peeps? Friday - Going for a meal with the missus and friends to celebrate their 1 year wedding anniversary Saturday - Going to Windsor Races to get legless and spend cash, going drinking after as well Sunday - Relaxing mostly but probably out in the evening for more liver abuse Monday - Another relaxing day methinks. This should be the best weekend for a while!
-
...had "relations" in a public place? ...let out your bodily waste in public? ...wondered what it would feel like to be a Man U fan? ...looked down on someone with scorn? ...sent a meal back in a restaurant? ...ever felt like this? When strange things happen, are you going Round The Twist?
-
I don't eat breakfast either. Breakfast is for wimps. A cup of coffee usually suffices. 3 meals would undoubtedly get boring, but I guess you could mix and match.
-
Eat: Roast Pork with all the trimmings. Spaghetti Carbonara and garlic bread. Meat Feast Pizza. Drink: Coffee Vodka and Red Bull Water.

It's quite clearly a drilled hole in a pane of glass. Closed minded am I.

What I don't understand is the Gareth Barry, while being a naturalised centre midfielder, started out as a left back/left midfielder. While he wouldn't be as influential, could they not try him out on the left?
