  1. Betting AGAINST Saints = Win/Win. :-D Seriously though, whoever bet against us consistantly last season must be a fricking millionaire by now.
  2. Sorry about the numerous typing mistakes from me there, I must've been tired. If it does finish 0-0, I'd be very suprised. My money's going on 4+ goals, even when we play badly we seem to be scoring.
  3. 1 to post a picture of a girl in a bikini, completely unrelated to light bulbs (unless she happens to be holding one), which makes the fred NSFW. (Bates.) 1 to say something cool about light bulbs because he wants other people on the board to like him, and they pretend to but secretly they all think he's a p rickle. 102 to read what's going on about light bulbs on the Thread but never actually post anything.
  4. I don't care if we lose this as long as we play well enough. A draw would be a good result, and I'd take that - a win would be absolutely fantastic. Leeds haven't lost at home this season, and we're looking to continue our best away form in the post war period. If you're going to put a bet on - have a fullter on there being 4+ goals in this game! I wouldn't be getting ****y about the JPT, the MK Dons will wasnt it as much as we do. This match I'm going to stick my head out and go for a 3-3. (With us coming from behind for a change...)
  5. For the Bristol Rovers game, I decided to pay on the night, only to get to the ground 15 minutes before kick off and find a queue a mile long. We missed the first 15 minutes of the game. Last night, I had pre-booked my tickets, walked over to the collection point and picked them up. They cost me 12 quid less for two tickets, and I didn't have to queue. I will be doing this from now on. I wish they'd hurry up and allow members again so I can book online.
  6. We drew the game, we won the tie. The tie was basically two legs, with one match, and one penalty shoot-out. Taking Einstein's Theory of Relativity into account, and introducing it with Professor Stephen Hawking's work on black holes, I can categorically state that I am bored with this debate. :-)
  7. http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=18676&page=3 About the "hattrick".
  8. What I said on the other thread was a joke BTW
  9. Realistically last night was a draw. However we won the tie, as the tie includes penalties. You COULD say tha Papa scored a hattrick last night...
  10. No denying it's a big catchment area, but if they go down this season, and it looks a real possibility, then they've got to get promoted twice in the next 7 years to make having a 45k stadium worthwhile. Strange decision that one.
  11. That'll put their new stadium plans on hold for a while. Plymouth lol
  12. I'm missing most of the World Cup next year due to work, so making this game would be ample consolation! ta.
  13. I'm taking the Wenger tactic and saying I didn't see what happened, all I saw was a Norwich player rolling around on the floor for ages - I thought it was blatent time wasting tactics. Norwich were time wasting from about 15 minutes before the end of the game. Free kicks, throw ins, goal kicks, everything was taking ages. No wonder it escalated into a bit of fisticuffs.
  14. She's still 17 guys, and... ...oh hell, rule 1. Incidentally, what's the date of the JPT Wembley game if we get through?
  15. I thought it was hilarious and so did most of the people around me. In fact I was so busy watching the kid get carried away that I missed Antonio's penalty (and I'm sure it was because I ahdn't kissed my lucky charm). It was comic relief IMO, a kid that got too caught up in the excitement of the game. If, however, it does continue in future games, then it will need to be stamped out, one way or the other. I'm all for fun, but rules is rules.
  16. I may've been wrong because I was still laughing at that kid, but I think it was captain Hammond.
  17. I went last night because I wanted to see that game, not because spending £12 gives me the privilege of getting priority tickets to the next couple of rounds. That said, if we do get priority, I won't be complaining!
  18. You really, really don't want a rule 1 there Eric. :smt040
  19. Someone sat in my seat after half time, I sat elsewhere. Problem solved. And I was riled up from dropping my damn hot dog on the floor. Make love, not war.
  20. That was brilliant. He had some pace on him too, Pards should sign him up.
  21. This, although I'd be very tempted to put Waigo in for Morgan and have James in the middle.
  22. Just got in. Well worth the drive down - I took my missus (Norwich fan sitting ever so quietly next to me to avoid the ribbings) and while she wasn't happy with the result, she loved the staduim (her first visit). Compliments to the toilets, I was told to put on here. :-D As for the game, my God. I don't think my heart can take games like that, and I'm only 29! I honestly don't think we deserved to win after that second half performance, but the direct football right at the death won it for us. There were one or two good performances but we did at times look a little lacklustre. Once again I thought Harding was excellent, he was always willing to bomb down the left and has a good cross on him too. Hammond was really getting stuck in too, and honourable mention goes to James too - the best I've seen him play at right back. Of course, there's Waigo. Why he doesn't start is beyond me, he's better than from what I've seen of Antonio. I also thought Thomas sorted us out at the back when he came on. He's a calm head. I'd like to see him start against Leeds, I wasn't overly impressed with Trotman. I'm too tired to do ratings, but I'm happy. Well done Bart, I thought we'd miss Davis in the penalties.
  23. My Norwich supporting missus wanted to kill me tonight. So yes, we won, and Norwich lost! Incidentally, I'm glad I didn't bet on this match, but I did have Man U, MK Dons and Leeds to win, and have won a few quid for Christmas pressies. :-D
  24. Papa does have a touch of class about him, and I rate him more than I rate Antonio. He has that cheeky touch about him that can take the ball away from opponents, and his pace goes without saying. Granted he gets a few offsides, but he also weighs in with a few goals. He'd me my right midfielder of choice in the current team, I thought he was good tonight. Of that list above, which is most peculiar, I would rate Papa as the best in terms of quality, although Wright did give his all for this club in any position that was asked of him.
  25. I want Pardew to put out a full side and win this. Massive confidence boost before the Leeds game, which incidentally is a game I don't mind if we lose so long as we play well. How we do does depend on the starting line up, but we can win this. I'll be there, and I'm looking forward to it.
