If it goes to pens can we not have Archer on the pitch please. 😁 But seriously my team is Alex, Bree, Ronnie, ABK, Taylor, Les, Fernandes, Will, AA, Archer, BBD. A mix of squad players, new players that still need to be bedded in and players that need to find form.

I'm still optimistic our new signings will bed in and are an improvement - Fernandes looks a prospect, Les comes with a big reputation and once fit could be the back line shield we need, Ramsdale is probably the best Keeper in the lower half of the Prem, Suga already looks good. You would hope Archer and BBD will start to show some kind of form at some point too. Add on top of that the emergence of Dibling as a potential first choicer, and the fact we kept KWP so far, I don't think things will look so bad long term. Ipswich next week will show whether we have any business being in the Prem or not.

It's not all bad, I was given naming rights to Saints new 75k stadium on FM... 😜

I quite like Russ and Saints we’re always in for a hiding this season and likely relegation candidates but after 4 straight losses you have to start thinking about how long the board will tolerate him. Yes Burnley and Luton stood by their managers last season but I don’t think that will happen with us this season. A few more bad results and he’ll be gone. Luckily for him we have Everton, Ipswich and Bournemouth next. Anything less than 6 points and he’s in trouble.

Never has a sending off United the fan base quite as much… I don’t mind Stephens, he’s an honest pro but we have better CBs. Hopefully like with his injury last season we could see an improvement defensively.

I think we will grow into the season. Lose a few, draw a few then win on the last day. 😊

Decent save Ramalamadingdong (The Edsels) United creeping back in. Defensively it's interesting as we struggled defensively last season with the back 4 and that's why we went 3 CBs but with Les and Suga added we should be tighter. I much prefer the 4 at the back than 3 CB though.

Love it. Love. It. Probably still lose but that's positive. I even agree with the decision of Stephens over THB seeing as THB hasn't started the season brilliantly and has also just played for the U21s. That's got to be close to our best team.

Plus if we stay up, we can upgrade and we have a decent third/fourth choice CB.
