We've signed plenty of chuff for money before! Granted you can get a gem for a mill, but gems can be free too. Perhaps AP is saving his money for next summer.

If i were offered a choice between Leroy Lita on a free or paying a million quid for someone crap i know who i'd choose. There are good frees out there for League One.

I always preferred the manager games when they were simpler. CM96-97 effectively ruined my schoolyears, education, and chances of getting a good job!! In fact, i was playing it still up until recently! I have football manger 09 but tend to play the 07 version as my girlfriend's computer is old!

All 3 are good strikers, just because they haven't gelled before doesn't mean they won't in L1. I'd personally keep John and Greg. Saga's made it clear if wants out.

With Pardew in place, 10 new signings and two weeks of proper training behind them, I think we'll start the new season just fine.

Not dissatisfied with this. I'd like to see Rasiak or John stay, but aside from that it's good to see the older deadwood depart for sunnier climes.

I've not smoked for ten days now, and quit cold turkey. That said, I only smoked about 5 a day, so had an easier job on my hands that someone that smoked a packet a day.
