The guy who claims his mate is staff @ staplewood could be spot on IMO. He has taken alot of **** but staplewood is the obvious choice for a shoot (as it was last year) & we all know cortese is a fussy bastard.

Agree pilchards, nice to see a positive thread in the morning rather than the usual attention seeking over negative dross! Really looking forward to the new season and to what we do in the Market. The only grumble I would have is that i would like to see nc improve his communication skills, alot of the moans could have been easily avoided IMO

I own the vasco White & vermillion 2009/10 teamwear shirt, they have still included the same shirt for 2010/11 in the new catologue. There is no way it will be this exact shirt, it is not of high enough quality and not a tailored by umbro shirt. I do think though it will be based on a very similar design.

Swansea have unveiled both home & away umbro shirts. Particularly like the away all black shirt & shorts with black & White hooped socks. The home one is literally all White! Seems very baggy, perhaps not "tailored by"?

@ the 9, yes mate I hear that the gunners shirt is based on that classic 70's design but that exact one was considered a fake. Fwiw I strongly believe it is a plain sash as mlt linked a vasco de gama shirt to the forum which did not break the nda signed. He has contacts at umbro due to his business, so I trust that and it was backed up by another poster who claimed to have signed nda & told him off! The others I pay no attention to as I do not know them from Adam and they have not put any meat on the bone at all. Mostly wums!

@ The9 West Ham have signed a deal with Macron and have left umbro. I am an avid FSC reader too, still have not seen that arsenal kit talked about as genuine.

The truth is somewhere in between imo. Yes we are very lucky to be in the position we are now in with NC & ML. Does not mean they should never be questioned.

I was impressed by Cortese from the start, he seemed such a breath of fresh air at the takeover stage i was hoping he would stay as cheif exec which happened. We owe him & Markus alot for saving our club. There have been lots of rumours concerning Pardew, I personally think that he was close to getting the push. The Echo thing on the face of it from what is known seems childish but i'm not too fussed. He is making no friends within the old guard of MLT, Benali, Lmc which is a shame but as long as it does not detract from the success on the pitch I can deal with it. No one is perfect or untouchable and for me he has made some mistakes. There are certain ways around it but for me not offering finance or any explanation for withdrawl is crazy, booking fee seems crazy and no explanation, programme pulled no explanation is crazy and the red nose on the badge is amateurish (I thought the clowns were at the other end of the M27), the kit video also is amateurish but this is nit picking. NC always says promise less deliver more and I like that statement, however due to the above I can only assume his communication skills are not the best putting it mildly. I personally prefer a sole owner and NC lives or dies from his decisions so we will see how things pan out over time.

I'm with you on that! Yesterday was hardly mid to end of June! However my get out of jail card is I was told by a club employee who seemed pretty sure. One thing I have learned over the years is never treat any saints related news/speculation/promises as fact until it happens, even from the horses mouth! Things do change though, but a large pinch of salt is often required.

Quarters would be interesting but slightly odd to wear the shirt from 121 years ago. The whole point of this celebration is 125 years which incorporates our ssm years too. Worth noting other than bb rovers away, no other English umbro sponsored teams have revealed any shirts for 10/11. Umbro are said to be very busy with england ATM. Infact quite a few have jumped ship west ham, Birmingham, hull to name a few. I expect home shirt & launch date to be confirmed within the next week or two.
