Cortese quite clearly, is not making any friends and this has been apparent for some time. I am eternally greatful for nc&ml investment & things seemed too good to be true. After initially & naively thinking he is untouchable, I have now accepted he has poor communication skills & is a dictatoral tyrant. I just hope he is a sucessful tyrant.

Been on sale in store since home shirt launch day mate. New standard umbro template, love the colour & complements the home perfectly.

Other than hold the ball up well in the corner counting down the clock, thought JC was pretty poor today. That said he hasn't really had much of a chance yet. An improved performance today, should have been out of sight though. A few odd substitutions imo, but what a fantastic tackle by upson!

I would say so mate, in general this is a similar fit to last seasons away shirt which is a looser fit than last seasons home. If last seasons large home shirt was a little too tight, this seasons large would be just right as it will be half a size bigger. If however you want it "baggy", yes XL would be better. and take note of the long sleeves, yes the arms are tighter as mentioned above.

Yes Merce, I take a 38 england shirt which is perfect and the home kit last season was fairly fitted - a medium was fine for me. This seasons home which is supposedly "tailored" (not) is actually much baggier in the chest body & neck. More a 40 than 38. The medium looked ok on me but I prefer a fitted look, so I have taken back and exchanged for small. What they really needed to do was do it in half sizes like the england shirts, I need one in between! I would get a large if you want a more fitted look and XL if you like it baggy. Im off to apply me lip gloss........

I like the saints font, it is a welcome blast from the past. Big ron should be on it in place of shearer IMO

Pilch, I think alot of peoples contacts have left the club so news has dried up. Also alot of mouth pieces on the coaching staff have left. The club monitors the forum closely & if anything is leaked & they can trace it back, their guts are garters!

Ok now I have seen the kit in the "flesh" here is my verdict. IMO it is the best kit we have ever had, however a couple of disappointments. Although the label is "tailored by Umbro", it is not a true tailored by kit imo as it is 100% nylon and not the gorgeous cotton poly mix seen on the england/city/ireland/sweden kits which is so comfortable. That said, those mixes lose their shape easily and don't wear well. The material is nice though and comfortable. The sizes are "fitted" but again not true tailored by which usually come in half sizes 36,38,40,42 etc. There are a couple of nice little bespoke features on the shirts like the red and gold triangle ehich is saints branded 125 behind the umbro logo. Even the red nose works well! Really nice design simple & classic exactly what I was hoping for apart from the fabric. 8/10. p.s it's viewable in the shop.

Some people have no taste Daren. I knew it would be quality, lets face facts - Cortese may be a bit of a Tyrant, however he dresses well & is one smooth mutha****a! I'll get me lip gloss........
