anyway back to the thread...... At the turn of the year I was not 100% convinced by Pardew, I felt there were still a few questions that needed to be answered. I think NC may have had similar feelings. I feel that whatever happens between now and the end of the season, pards has answered those questions beyond doubt. He has bought fantastically, the players are super motivated (I loved seeing 3 players challenging for the header that bought Barnards goal in the last minute), we have options tactically, and he has massively improved some of our undertperforming youngsters last year. goals goals goals oh year and our first trophy for 25+ years! Very good season, looking forward to next year whatever league we are in hopefully NC is happy with pards now

Great day, knackered. Just watched the 90 back as I was in row 6 for a different perspective and we played better than I thought orignally. Like others have said, another good result. We are so frustratingly inconsistant. Need to get this sorted before the end of the season. Rickie is invaluable to us, give him an improved deal now. Well done to the whole team

It's all a matter of opinion, as football is performance related it is not realistic for fans not to criticise the manager. Nobody is perfect and despite some absolutly cracking performances this season, there has also been very mediocre and very poor performances. The team and the manager deserve the praise for Leeds Huddersfield & Norwich for example but they did not get it right against Tranmere, Exeter, Swindon home & away brighton for example. This team has bags of ability but I would question there mental attitude and winning mentality. This is what needs to be addressed if we are going to get automatic promotion next season which imo is a must. Some fans have seen so many defeats and poor performances over the years that some will accept regular mediocrity imo.

I don't really get the spurs hatred, other than the fact the fans can be quite miserable bastards.
