Yup - of course that is the downside and therefore would never happen. Pride before a fall. But in all seriousness (as I know they won't change), the mock ups seemed to have a less exaggerated lift in the middle and was a much gentler arch (if that makes sense). That to me is where the problem is. At least there will be no mistaking with Sunderland or Stoke.

Maybe he does, but not that confidently and not confidently enough to do with a camera stuck in his face.

I see EFC and WHU being fairly similar now. Both being very chippy, presumably through an inferiority complex, desperate to be seen as being a PL big boy and the race to the top is not known for it's classy way of doing things. Sad really. WHU have been dragged down by their clowns of chairmen (especially the one who dresses up like a North Korean tin pot dictator) but EFC is worse, as it has been dragged down by some of its supporters. Of course this is just in my eyes and others will see it differently. It might be easy to turn around and say that it is sour grapes about Koeman, but i am pragmatic about football and who works where, but that wouldn't be accurate. It is down to their attitude now and I will love the schadenfreude if they crash this season.

Are you seriously complaining about signing McCarthy and signing a player "all worse than those leaving" who will hardly play unless "Forster is about to do his knee again"? You obviously haven't seen Gazza in action.

Sssshhh. Don't be silly and let minor facts get in the way

I think we all know that it looks dreadful, and I think we probably would say that if it was like the fan mock up with the red "bra" rather than white, it would look a lot better. What the club should do, is admit they cocked it up and change the white to red now.
-
I find this very hard to believe that it is actually possible.

I for one appreciate your post. One takes these ITK bits and makes a judgement on their veracity based on the posters past posts. Of course things don't always work out the way they "should", and the ITK'er turns out to be wrong, but that's life. Your contributions don't/never rate on the bull's hitter scale, so what you say is good enough for me and nice to know that we "should" have JF with us next season.

Ssané to MAn C looks like a goer. Schalke said that they wanted but couldn't afford Tadic, is this the case, or will they come in for him?
-
beowulf, you are not alone in mentioning increased TV money. Let me ask you, do you think that the owner should have her loans repaid before buying £30m+ players?
-
Yeah, but it will give you something else to whinge about, as the last game of the season being a Cat A is a bit limiting.
-
Serious or one of these internet "jokes"?
-
You could say that Mané was JRod's replacement whilst he was out injured.
-
Sorry but that is not what was said.

I guess people are including Gaston and Kelvin as well.

This is the sort of post that I find intriguing. They shouldn't underestimate his impact as a player, and as a captain. Is this impact just something that the supporters can see and that the PROFESSIONALS at the club are oblivious too? (rhetorical) Not trying to have a go or anything, but there are so many posts by us amateurs, during the closed season especially, that treat the professionals at the club like rank amateurs. I am sure that they are more aware than you and I of the situation, impact and any other course of action that is needed and is likely to happen. We might disagree with decisions made, but this is questioning the club's professionalism.

Saints announce Virgin Media as new main club sponsor
angelman replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
In fairness to bookies, I put them way above money lenders. NUFC's sponsor used to charge an APR of something like 5500% but are now down to a much more reasonable 1261% APR. I find it interesting that some do not see the sponsor as being important. I would be aghast at a money lender and unhappy with a bookie. It says a fair bit about the club and who they are happy to be associated with. I know betting goes hand in hand with sport, but even so, it's an industry whose product isn't a necessity and offers nothing of benefit, but quite the opposite. As for NUFC, I fee sorry for their fans, but at least they got motivated to provide an alternative: http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/newcastle-united-fans-sell-alternative-6155554 -

I agree. Gambling companies are fine. I read this sort of article and can't see an issue..... https://www.theguardian.com/society/2014/feb/28/englands-poorest-spend-gambling-machines http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/addiction-soars-as-online-gambling-hits-2bn-mark-8468376.html http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2570812/Bookmakers-accused-targeting-deprived-communities-high-stakes-gambling-machines-helped-rake-13BILLION-year.html etc etc ad nauseam Then there is this particular issue..... https://next.ft.com/content/70dc43b0-c9ae-11e5-be0b-b7ece4e953a0 So if you need some bed time reading, maybe this might interest you..... http://www.gla.ac.uk/media/media_34552_en.pdf -
Experimenting to see what options you have. There is no point playing these friendlies and using your starting XI. If you know that X, Y and Z are going to be starters, isn't it best to see how others might fit into your plans, especially the young ones?

Man Utd is interesting, but you would have to think carefully about it. While it could of course happen with us, Utd will spit him out and discard him without hesitation when he is viewed surplus to requirement. You just have to look at Lambert to see what's what. [i do wonder with hindsight, whether SRL would have gone to Liverpool if he knew how it would end?]. Landford brings up a bit that few seem to take into consideration - family. Also post playing career might be important as well. Then again, he might well want to return to Portugal.

Batman - Somewhat different when they are already your players. But hey, ever the opportunist to whinge and b¡thch at the club. Well done.
