I think that was just an option last time - I certainly has my ST gradually refunded in cash last season.

Friday’s post has been - no sign of either of our tickets. What a absolute joke.

It’s Wednesday, 5 days after the season kicked off. Several months after payment for Season Tickets was required. Has a single fan got their Season ticket yet? Looks like the answer is no. Amazingly bad.

Anyone actually got their ST yet?

I’ve spoken to season ticket holders from two other clubs (Fulham and arsenal). Nether asked their season ticket holders to pay up front this season. Not a scientific sample.

Anyone managed to log in successfully? Saints have sent me a password but the BT FAQs say you need a username and password. I’m having trouble guessing what the username might be - just been locked out.

I agree that any players taking a huge wage cut and being furloughed are probably entitled to a free transfer. That rules out most of the players - but perhaps not all, given our ‘excellent’ transfer record in recent years....

An observation - seems like a disproportionately high number on English players.

If he did last two and a half seasons I think that would make him just about the Longest serving manager since Chris Nichol!

Pretty sure it was the season before this one that we went 20 games without a win. But, to be fair to Chris, we were also top of the league early in on that previous season and finished strongly. The season with the Swindon win was one of our best ever I think. You’re right that the next one wasn’t as good. In retrospect Nichol was a really good manager whose main problem was following on from an all time great.

The bend on that free kick from MLT - must be one of (even) his best. What a find!

Surprised there is no thread on this already. I can’t wait. Some of my best cup memories are of us playing the “mighty” spurs: I was right behind the goal when we pulverised them 3-1 at WHL in 1990, with MLT and Rod Wallace running riot; and one of our best performances ever was the 4-0 on our run to the final in 2003, with that great Svensson goal too. Also went up to see us get a good draw at WHL in late 90s, and then take command in the replay at the Dell..... 3 o’clock on a Saturday and £10 entry - we are flying and they aren’t special anymore.

Who is going down? Not us. Norwich obvs Bournemouth, Brighton and Burnley also on very long poor runs and only look ok due to goodish starts in the summer. We should now be asking if the are three better teams - or any better teams not starting with an L.

I thought it was an incredible decision / by the ref firstly and then VAR. His arm was right up in the air for no reason - not the natural position for the arm - and he put it up in the air as the cross came in. Absolutely blatant. The ref was awful. As many have said, we beat 12 men. If it was at the other end the ref would certainly have given it - and if he didn’t the likes of Alli and the former special one would have gone off on one.

A note to Amazon Prime editors - in the 30 minutes highlight package, probably no need to leave over half the build up to our second goal on the cutting room floor. Also - could you change the patronising setting on the co-commentator down below maximum for subsequent games.
