  1. My mate (who flagged it to me) got emails about it, but I’ve got nothing - despite being relentlessly spammed to give feedback seemingly every week. sounds like the email process fell over at SFCs end.
  2. Anyone else miss the deadline for securing their season ticket seat for the hammers game? Mine has already been taken grrrr. Pretty sure I didn’t get anything from the club telling me about this! Maybe it was hidden away somewhere.
  3. Sounded like the usual power struggle between a relatively “hands on” director of football and strong minded manager - nothing too extreme but probably not conducive to being the best of friends afterwards. https://theathletic.com/3122701/2022/02/11/rangnick-and-hasenhuttl-a-story-of-football-philosophies-creative-differences-and-mutual-respect/?source=user_shared_article It’s quite a long article - I’ve just copied a small bit below It is understood that the pair would often disagree about the club’s direction of travel in meetings, although these episodes were never played out in front of the players. This has been described as a hindrance to Hasenhuttl, especially as it stopped him from getting his messages across. Away from the waning results, there were disagreements over a contract extension. It is believed RB Leipzig offered Hasenhuttl a new deal during the second season but that he turned it down. The Athletic has been told that his decision to reject the offer coincided with the Austrian holding talks with Bayern Munich over the possibility of becoming their manager.
  4. That was an odd thing for Jenas to say. Ralf often makes quite interesting points in interviews. He is a breath of fresh air compared to some. (Did anyone see the Conte interview post spurs game - he was close to incoherent never mind the standard vacuous word-salads) There was an interesting article in the Athletic pre game about the two Ralf rather acrimonious history. I wonder if that had something to do with Ralf choosing to comment freely on the opposition?
  5. Probably our last season in the championship:-)
  6. Good analogy - got our Christmas pud at F&M for the first time last year. When we got it home we found it was damaged. Very much like the aging Ronaldo. Thumping away win on the cards.
  7. We the fans won’t know but the clubs lawyers 100% should know. The Alderweireld thing seemed a bit of a farce and a one off - didn’t someone get the chop after that?
  8. See the film Moneyball for details
  9. Anyone got any stream suggestions (first matched I've missed in a while) The hockey suggestion above doesn't seem to have any football on is - assume that was a joke?
  10. It’s amazing how quickly JWP has been forgotten
  11. Moussa didn’t do anything of note? Wasn’t that him slipping in Redmond for the goal, with one of the best through balls I’ve seen in many a game?
  12. Odd that this one resurfaced yesterday - I was thinking that Tella’s finish last night, giving the keeper the eyes, was pure DC.
  13. I think that was just an option last time - I certainly has my ST gradually refunded in cash last season.
  14. Friday’s post has been - no sign of either of our tickets. What a absolute joke.
  15. It’s Wednesday, 5 days after the season kicked off. Several months after payment for Season Tickets was required. Has a single fan got their Season ticket yet? Looks like the answer is no. Amazingly bad.
  16. Anyone actually got their ST yet?
  17. I’ve spoken to season ticket holders from two other clubs (Fulham and arsenal). Nether asked their season ticket holders to pay up front this season. Not a scientific sample.
  18. Anyone managed to log in successfully? Saints have sent me a password but the BT FAQs say you need a username and password. I’m having trouble guessing what the username might be - just been locked out.
  19. I agree that any players taking a huge wage cut and being furloughed are probably entitled to a free transfer. That rules out most of the players - but perhaps not all, given our ‘excellent’ transfer record in recent years....
  20. An observation - seems like a disproportionately high number on English players.
  21. If he did last two and a half seasons I think that would make him just about the Longest serving manager since Chris Nichol!
  22. From memory (“you are the ref” and similar) an indirect free kick from inside the six yard box is taken from the six yard line.
  23. Travelling upon the saints coach with my son. Only done this twice before: Man Utd 0 Saints 1 Swansea 0 Saints 1
  24. And the 40 year assessment period plucked from thin air happens to just exclude an actual cup win.
