I’m not sure we will ever be much more “ready” to go up? The current squad seems brilliant for the championship.

Exactly my concern - although apparently getting Ramsdale out the door will be trivially easy so Adam’s tweet was just clickbait 🙂

I was pleased to see it confirmed. I wasn’t sure we’d want him and ramsdale if we went up, and we will have Ramsdale unless we can shift him, which I though might mean it’s not good news for holding on to Peretz.

At the risk of doing it to death, he slips turning to sprint back realising the ball has gone over his head. As you can see in your picture - he has a 10 yard head start on the striker. I thought he’d have made it to the ball ahead of him if he hadn’t slipped.

I thought he would have got to the ball first if he hadn’t slipped. The bounce did mean he had to readjust but he had it in hand.

Was it a case of Peretz misjudgement? I thought he just slipped. he also made some incredible saves - but that is par for the course.

Of course, we might not have seen the goal of the season yet….

There are so many good candidates. If/when we secure promotion we should make a point of awarding it to the entire squad* * with a footnote specifically excluding Bazunu and Damien Downs.

So many to choose from. Is it maybe our best season for numerous quality goals since MLT?

I Will blame Still

Only a couple of weeks ago we were doing these calculation to see if we were likely to make the play offs. Now second is very much in play - the other sides need to suddenly find some form to stop us. Ipswich have won 3 in 8. Millwall have won 2 in 6. We are on our best run in 108 years.

I hate to admit it, but I thought we might lose when we were 3 down at half time against Leicester.

No doubting they were/are both fantastic runs. I’d actually checked the number of draws in each myself last week as this one “felt” better. I was surprised that the number of draws last time wasn’t higher. i think one key difference is that this time we have shot right up the league, gaining points on everyone. Last time we had another three teams doing similarly, that we couldn’t quite catch, even though (if memory serves) we were the only one going unbeaten. They were all getting similar points. Definitely agree both great runs, of course.

Are you counting the Leicester cup match as a draw, coz we only won in extra time? I make it 16 wins and only 3 draws. it does feel much different to last time when almost one in three were draws. In this run the small number of draws were towards the start of the run and it has just been win after win relentlessly recently.

Can’t be much difference walking from Woolston versus walking from central station?

A draw with no key injuries will be fine in terms of remaining on course for the play offs. A win and we are starting to look extremely well placed.

That was pretty poor by our chaps. First Manning gives away the most needless penalty you will ever see, to change the game with Ireland coasting at 2-0 up. Then Azaz first miss in shoot out. At least they’ll be back early.
