  1. I'm still waiting for a shipment of printed-circuit boards from China. They were put on the aircraft on Monday 12th and they haven't been seen since. The latest rumour is that they were off-loaded in Delhi but nobody can find any trace of them. It's part of a shipment of 350Kg so it can't be easy to overlook it. There 12 other companies who are in the same position and can't meet their production needs so someone might get laid off. It's British Airways Cargo, but you probably guessed that anyway.
  2. How are they the biggest club? In terms of debts?
  3. Don't Reading have to offer him a contract in order to get compensation for a player who is under 24 years old?
  4. But even if they had stayed in the Premier League, they would not have been able to continue trading. They owe tens of millions for this season and have faced a winding-up order. The extra income from the PL would not arrive until next year.
  5. Prostitution is legal. Running a brothel is not.
  6. I'm sure there will be a big shake-up over the summer and I would agree with most of your list with the addition of Molywho. At least Otsemebor is a specialist full-back, although he's nothing special. Maybe worth having as a stand-in, but I'd like to think that we could do a lot better. Central midfield is where we're lacking. Maybe Oakley might like to move back?
  7. Since Newcastle and West Bromwich were promoted after one season, their remaining parachute payments are shared amongst the other CCC clubs. Do these payments also go to the newly-relegated clubs? One would assume not, but you never know.
  8. Quite correct. But if it started outside and continued inside for a couple of yards then Seabourne was going being pushed backwards and was being fouled in the process.
  9. That's good advice. See if you can suggest ways in which employing you is going to help their business.
  10. Lying on your CV is a serious business and it could cost you more than your new job.
  11. Simple. Buy up all those players and next season it will be!
  12. Into the next county?
  13. It depends on your circumstances. Be careful because they can come back later annd claim it off you, when you sell your house for example. They allow you to keep something like £80,000 of equity from the sale. Child abuse cases will always qualify for legal aid. There is a salary threshold above which you cannot qualify and my ex daughter-in law reduced her hours so that she could get it. We spent £30,000 helping my son in the same action whereas she got all her bills paid by the taxpayer.
  14. Twitter is for twits.
  15. I can't wait for next season. When do the fixtures come out?
  16. I've been to a couple of their games this season and whilst I will congratulate them on a fantastic season, I think they will struggle next season without the strengthening that they can't afford.
  17. They always used to be Hampshire and some of us still refuse to accept the boundary changes.
  18. Serious backing-in by the Carlisle forward from where I'm sitting.
  19. Yup. Sign him up if he's cheap.
  20. Technically, I don't think you have one at the moment.
  21. Those were my words when I read that we should change our manager.
  22. 18 months would be 17th January 2011.
  23. Isn't that what the Airline PAssenger Tax is for?
  24. Could be either.
