That is another beef of mine. The OS is only for truly devoted followers of the faith. The answer is Monday 7th December.

When people all around you are being made redundant it sticks in the throat somewhat when those who have well-paid and undemanding jobs find something trivial over which to walk out. I had to make one of my staff redundant back in March and it wan't very pleasant to have to tell someone that they didn't have a job anymore.
They shouldn't pay a higher percentage, no. I suspect that you haven't been to Britain for a while where even the middle classes are paying a horrendous prercentage of their gross earnings, and I include employers' NI in that.
Mmm, the idea is to maximise the tax revenue and reducing tax rates can very often do that. Government taxation is legalised daylight robbery and anything over 20% is far too high, in my opinion.
I shall never fly BA again, I've witnessed too many bad experiences. They even bumped my daughter and her new husband on their honeymoon flight even though they'd booked and paid over a year in advance. There are plenty of alternatives, use them instead.
Which part? I think you'll find that Rayleigh scattering is the commonly accepted reason for the sky being blue and not that God is a Pompey fan, which is so preposterous that we can discount it without further discussion.
I don't suppose we shall ever know in any detail. It all depends on how the club is capitalised. I never could find a detailed Profit & loss account under the old regime so with this one it's going to be impossible.
An interesting question which helps to crystalise points of view. Should the regular supporter continue to turn up no matter what, or should the club respond to the concerns of its 'customers' who pay their money and in exchange expect to be treated to entertainment and respect?
I use 'customers' for want of a better word
I was agreeing with you until you got to that bit. That was the biggest mistake that any government has ever made. If you throw money at the Public Sector then all they'll do is give themselves a payrise and hold more meetings. As a manufacturer myself I have seen what the mimimum wage has done to manufacturing in this country: it has exported all the jobs.
Now that makes me mad because I chose my wording carefully. People who have bought season tickets for the last few seasons and have sat through the worst rubbish I have ever seen must be the most loyal supporters anywhere, not those who pick and choose which matches to attend.
