  1. There wasn't a lot of it, tbf. I can't remember myself, were there boos after the Palace game last year?
  2. Agreed, there is a long way to go, but if these 'lads' are ever going to develop into professional footballers they will have to experience all aspects of playing in front of paying customers, the poor diddums.
  3. and how many defeats?
  4. Cardiff scored first, and no, we didn't deserve anything out of that game. Blackpool were better in every position except keeper.
  5. I don't see why anybody should have to make allowances just because they are a load of kids. If they are wearing Saints shirts and we are paying full prices then we are entitled to expect better than what we saw today. Is anybody suggesting that if we had suffered that performance last season then nobody should have booed them off?
  6. Yep, that's how it was.
  7. I assume that you mean 'whoever conceded first' ?
  8. If you pay your money then you can cheer or boo as you please. That performance today was drossier than last year's dross.
  9. I don't think I'll bother. I went up to Millmoor the last time that they beat us. They play at the Don Valley Stadium now, I believe. It could have been worse. We could have drawn them at SMS.
  10. I agree with you in the most part, he only made a couple of factually wrong decisions. The two officials missed a blatant handball late in the second half, and he was wrong not to play advantage when Dyer was pulled back so that he could give the Blackpool player a booking. There was one occasion when our players seemed determined not to take the kick from the right place. James was unluck to get booked for what I did not consider to be fouls.
  11. He had no choice, there were two balls on the pitch. For 'outside interference' of any kind - drop ball. Blame the stupid multi-ball system.
  12. 4 minutes. Had it been 40, we still wouldn't have scored.
  13. That seems like a good place to stop.
  14. So Old Trafford it is then. \\:D/
  15. There were only two weeks between the 1st and 2nd rounds but there are 4 weeks to the next one so I suppose they can afford to wait. I'll take anyone that can fill SMS providing they're not very good.
  16. I suspect you're right but we don't have them for every game.
  17. There were cameras behind both goals with a cameraman operating the Northam one. That can't have been cheap so why all the cameras if we're only going to get the goals?
  18. Believe me, when we are talking about Lowe class doesn't come into it.
  19. Would that be the one with the registration 'D GOLD' ? It didn't look blue to me but that was under the street lights. I agree, he must have been disappointed with the way that his team played. By the end of the game they looked completely p!ssed off.
  20. I'm happy to admit that I feel a little bit more confident now that we have Cork and Pekhart on loan but I still feel that the squad is a bit thin and we need a couple more signings. We shan't have a settled squad until the loan window closes at the end of September (?)
  21. I think that counts as 'slightly off target'
  22. It's a good thing that none of them has school tomorrow.
  23. Too soon to say, IMO.
  24. And no yellow cards! Have we had any bookings so far?
  25. We noticed it too, why is that? We used to have the best playing surface in the country. Now it's not up to the standard of the football.
