  1. The big difference between the Premier League and the lower divisions is that in general fewer mistakes are made and fewer chances are missed. In a way its too predictable, and that’s why I don’t like it.
  2. But without the charisma.
  3. Fit only for the bin.
  4. One who’s a Wally?
  5. I don’t know and I’m guessing here but I’m assuming that Luton doesn’t have a footballing academy that is the envy of the world?
  6. Noi mention of Tottenham?
  7. I've been there a few times. I used to live up that way and my dad used to go and watch them when Alf Ramsey was in charge.
  8. To be honest I don't think that any of the first team are ready for the frst team. That's if he even knows what our first team is.
  9. Ah, of course. I was not clever enough to realise that.
  10. I think Bednarek has been the problem.
  11. CHDAJFU ?
  12. Fair points. Perhaps I should have said that he ought to have known what he was getting into. If he didn’t then it’s impossible to have any sympathy for him. Bednarek and Bree are definitely his decisions. What I want to know is if we ended up with Janny B whatever happened to Janny A?
  13. Jones knew what the squad was before he joined. If he didn’t like it he didn’t have to join. Therefore it’s his squad now.
  14. It is now and has been ever since he joined us.
  15. My wife loves it
  16. Isn’t that a good thing?
  17. You forgot the £27.50 booking fee
  18. That’s nothing! I’m fluent in gibberish.
  19. We won't, but his tenure will not be decided by the result of this one match. The previous 7 league games are other offences that must be taken into consideration.
  20. Er... yes and no.
  21. No, you can't blame him for taking the offer. It's not his fault that he's not the right person, but he's not the right person.
  22. Yes indeed. There's more to the game than just kicking a ball. For the same reasons you have given you cannot pick a team just based on how well they have done during training. And if any of these 'metrics' included xG then we know where they have gone wrong.
  23. There are lots of factors that these metrics obviously don't include. The manager of a Premier League team is also its public face and is contractually obliged to face the media. Results achieved at a lower division outfit do not take into consideration the quality of the opposition.
  24. The Lincoln game had me immediately worried. I was prepared to give him a chance but it was clear from that setup that he didn't know how to manage it.
  25. Or both?
