Sanctions are a long term measure. Why would you think that they would have an immediate effect?
-
To be fair the ref at the game probably thought it was a wig. Players are not allowed to wear jewellery because of their personal safety so why can’t they be obliged to wear hair nets or bathing caps?

Carabao Cup 2nd Round draw - Cambridge (a)

Seating there is unallocated so you might find it easier to move to an unobstructed seat. I am 73 and not classified as disabled but I find it quite a strain to have to stand for long periods. It’s one reason why I rarely go to away games. -
Wasn’t he also the VAR ref for the Leicester 0-9 where he sent off Bertrand?

Britannia? We’ve never been on that one. I’d be interested in your views. We love cruising and have spent something like 550 nights on board about 36 cruises and have seen all sorts of wonderful places all over the world. Highlights have been Cape Horn and the Falklands, the Panama and Suez Canals, Australia, Hawaii, several transatlantics, Norway, Spitsbergen, Iceland and lots more European ones of course. Going from Southampton avoids the awful airports and flying. The Canadian Rockies are on my list and I would love to do a fly-drive trip there before the insurance premiums get to high on account of our ages and medical conditions.

He’s 79 FFS, not far off 80.

Good grief you people are so simple. "Seemingly forgets" are the operative words. If you actually watch the clip you might notice that when he holds his hand out again it is in a different orientation from when he makes the handshake. For the handshake his hand rotates to the left. When he holds it out again it rotates to the right. One is a closing gesture the other something quite different. Only someone with an agenda could interpret it the way that you and GBNEWS do. GBNEWS is the Farage Fan Club. 'nuff said.

I found this from 2020. Daily Mail though Clubs are paid their TV money on a staggered basis over the course of the year, receiving one payment in August another around January and the third at the end of the season. In anticipation of receiving the funds it is common practice for clubs, especially those outside the so-called top six, to borrow money to ensure they have a significant amount consistently in the bank while they wait for the three-times-a-season payments.

Yes indeed. Still photos can be very misleading but we seem to have drifted away from the days when ‘a tackle from behind likely to endanger an opponent’ was an automatic red card. I don’t believe he was given a yellow for it.

Could it have been €34m ? Just a fint hope

Plus the goal at Swansea?

Of course he is, his hand is open and flat. Good grief do people actually believe this crap?
-
There’s a reason for that.
-
Possibly. He joined United in 1989 and his multiple sclerosis was discovered in 1996 and may have been the cause of his problems.
-
Wasn’t that the case with VVD?

Danny Wallace?

He was born in Ulldecona which is about 300km from Girona but he joine Barcelona's youth academy from Espanyol. So yes, definitely his home region. Nice area

That's not a loan then is it? An option to buy maybe.
-
I don’t think they had a choice. Government sanctions and all that stuff.
-
Of course they aren’t. It’s a direct result of Brexit.

You must be too young to remember 1976 and our glorious Minister for Drought The Right Honourable Lord Denis Howell, one FA referee from 1956 to 1966. Yes, I know you weren’t serious;)

He was never our player and was always going to go back to Chelsea.
-
He's been here ober ten years. That usually entitles a player to a testimonial.

That’s because they all had proper haircuts. If these ladybodys want to play football they can’t be surprised when their hair gets caught up in something Six of one and half a dozen of the other. Cucurella was pulling on Romero’s shirt.
