  1. We were in the Premier League when he joined us. He’s the reason we shall not be in the Premier League next season.
  2. Nothing random about last season. It was the one immediately before this one.
  3. I’ll watch it again before commenting in detail but anytime an opposition player skips around your full back and gets to the goal line inside your penalty are you’re going to be in trouble. I said to my grandson at the time, “far post”, and lo and behold there it was. I couldn’t fault AMN’s commitment after that but he’s never going to be a full back. We’ve got two competent right backs in KWP and Bree and Perraud is not the worst of left backs.
  4. Why did they allow the drum? Surely we can just say NO
  5. AMN was the main culprit for that first goal.
  6. Ralph is the reason we’re deep in the shit.
  7. I put a lot of it down to the recall of Benarek. Everything goes through him and everything slows through him.
  8. It would be a stay of execution.
  9. We are far beyond the stage of playing percentage football. Nothing less than going for the throat will do any good.
  10. Was that the season when Prutton missed a sitter away to West Brom?
  11. They're not the only ones. Remember. This is what you 'voted' for.
  12. Just go for it FFS
  13. Wood (had to be done)
  14. Whatever anyone might think of his positioning and performances you can bet your boots that this is the way that he has been coached. He’s not some kid that your mate has brought along to play between the posts.
  15. You’re absolutely right WSS and we all (most) understand quite clearly what is meant by share as a proportion of total GDP. But this is not the same thing as share of a market, for example, where the gross total is limited. it is not a quantity that is ‘shared’ out. I cannot see why anybody bothers to calculate such figures. To try to compare such a ‘share’ from one year to the next is a fool’s errand.
  16. That’s when it all began.

    Russia

They are not Russians. Unless you’re a racist and think that ethnicity is more important than where you live and we’re brought up. They are Crimeans who have been Ukrainians for at least two generations
  18. I am not and never will be your ‘chum’. Yes, [tedious voice], we all know about PPP. It cannot and should not be used anywhere anybody of limited comprehension. Has the EU’s living standard increased? Of course it has. Therefore it is not ‘dropping’. Here’s a simple Illustration. Pedro lives in Patagonia and Bruno lives in Berlin.which has the better living standard? - Correct! Pedro gets a 300% pay rise and Bruno gets a 5% pay rise. Now who’s better off? Tricky little question, isn’t it?
  19. Oh FFS. Share means nothing.
  20. Where did you copy that from? There is only one stage. Pure, unadulterated anger. Anger that a selfish idiot like you can ruin the livelihoods of honest hard-working people. This anger will never go away. We know who you are and one day you will get your come uppance. You will be first up against the wall.
  21. You are a right idiot. SHARE IS NOT RELEVANT. It's absolute values that matter.
  22. 'Being' not 'between' Ipad innit. I thought that might have been obvious to be honest. You have once again dsplayed your mathematical ignorance. And don't try any of your snotty little comments on me chum, when it coes to academi achievements I outrank you several times over. Its share is irrelevant. It is certainly not 'dropping'. It's arguments like this that trap the mathematically illiterate and they've certainly ensnared you. "The EU economy has grown in size" there you have it in your words in black and white. It has grown. It is increasing in value. It is getting bigger. What anybody on the other side of the world is doing has no relevance. If Bolivia and Chile, for example, want to exchange thousands of tons of gold on a daily basis their economies will appear bigger than they were. Their economies will appear to have grown. That has nothing to do with the EU. Look at what I wrote again (with correction), "an abstract irrelevance since the two quantities being compared are not related." If a shop in Wolverhampton sells 100,000 oranges and a shop in Nairobi sells 100,000 avocados then which has the higher turnover? If next year the shop in Wolverhampton sells 150,000 oranges and the one in Nairobi sells 120,000 avovados then which has increased its turnover and by how much. Trying to measure one relative to the other is idiotic.
  23. They will. You just have to wait a bit longer.
  24. Your second quote illustrates the idiot’s understanding of percentages. ”Its share of global GDP will drop to 14.6pc this year. It is losing roughly one percentage point every three years.” It is not dropping at all, it is actually growing. Such figures are used by the unscrupulous to reign in dummies that think they mean something that they don’t mean but like what they read and don’t have the wit or wisdom to examine them more closely . A relative share expressed as a percentage, that’s a ‘fraction’ to you, is an abstract irrelevance since the two quantities between compared are not related. The EU’s GDP is increasing year on year so why you should think it might be dropping is deeply disturbing.
