He was great today. Not just for him setting up Adams and scoring himself but for his constant runs across the back to pull their defenders out of position.
He was in an offside position, which is not of itself an offence. It is only penalised once he becomes involved.
I’m old fashioned and prefer the historic interpretations.
It’s inconsistent. The Forest defender deliberately played the ball. Or did he? There have been other games where that would have been allowed. Salah anybody?
He seems to panic when he has a chance of a shot and takes a wild slash at the ball. That opportunity that he had late on Wednesday for a shot on goal ended up somewhere in the Kingsland. At least I think it did. I completely lost sight of it.
