The midfield is too weak because it is reduced to accommodate an extra central defender.

So. What’s to do? If we think that we have a chance of getting out of this relegation mess then something needs to change quickly. If we do get relegated then is Nathan Jones the right person to get us out of the Championship?

That’s about what we need for the rest of the season. That would mean we would finish on 39 points.

If there is it’s obvious that the players haven’t been told.

We have to play three central defenders so that we can accommodate Lyanco. Otherwise he might have to be left out of the starting lineup;)

But it's the style of football that gets the results that you desire.

You don't create atmosphere by making a lot of noise. That comes from the supporteres and not from the loudspeakers.

Our present positon has nothing to do with bad luck. Why is it that people who know nothing about professional English football think that somehow they can come in and try something so fundamentally different that it will be a success in the longer term? There is a very goood reason why not other clubs are approaching things this way. That's because it will not work. There is an enormous gulf between the Premier League and those below it. Their plan will not work if the club is in a lower league.

Playing with three central defenders just left us ineffective in midfield and invited Forest to come at us. It's no wonder then that the action mostly took place in our half of the pitch.

If we have an extra defender at the back then we have one player fewer somewhere else on the pitch. In every game that I’ve seen us try to play this system there is a big hole in midfield where our players should be.

OUT, and OUT now. Anybody who thinks that Lyanco and Elyonoussi should start any game hasn’t got a clue. And he has done it more than once.

Absolutely dreadful player. Why does any manager ever pick him?

Sticking with Ralph for too long was the first big cock up. He is responsible for the position we are in. Appointing Nathan Jones was the second big cock up.

Perhaps they’d take Nathan Jones.
