Europa League 2016/2017 (Died 8/12/2016)

Which can be self-fulfilling if ticket allocation is restricted to those who go to the most away games, primarily the younger, single male intent of having a 'good time'. -
Yes indeed. Anybody who wants to criticise should try if first. Or as Steve Martin (and others) said: 'Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, when you do criticise him, you'll be a mile away and have his shoes.'

Isn't the defence also important, perhaps more important that the attack? You cannot deduce anything from one or two games. Any team can fluke a goal or make a silly mistake. In my bookcase I have a copy of 'Facts From Figures' by M.J. Moroney and chapter 8 is titled 'Goals floods and horse-kicks' and is about the Poisson distribution which relates to a large number of events each with a small probability of success and goals in football matches fall into this category. If you think that match statistics are significant then it might be worth a read.

So good that it went right over my head the first time. I salute you, sir -
More on the Siamo Noi card, Once you have registered and logged in then go to this page http://tdt.inter.it/?hash=08667dfc7771e2ec0ede91c262e9eda4&l=en Upload your photo, passport (scan? I didn't go that far) and credit card info and they'll send it to you. You then need to activate it at the ground. Presumably they verify you against the card. Might be worth a try if not too expensive.

I seem to remember there was talk of £1m which was still too much. He's had a lot of player development in the lower leagues since then, several years in fact.
-
I've just been reading the instructions for getting a Siamo Noi card. In Italy you fill in the online form and they'll send the card to you. The card costs €10 and the postage is €2.50 in Italy. I don't know if they'll post to the UK, can't see why not. Alternatively you can pick your card up from the ticket agency (there are hundreds of them all over Italy) where you applied for it. This is not much use to us. The card acts similarly to our electronic season tickets with the matches uploaded to it. This page is interesting: http://www.inter.it/en/cessione/1 It would appear that you can transfer/assign your ticket to another person. You need to take the original ticket plus the printed transfer authorisation to the turnstiles. Hmm

Net spend on its own is not particularly relevant. A club might sign a player who is out or near the end of contract for a low figure but then choose to pay higher wages instead.
-
Did they say what that debt consisted of? In the accounting world there are many possibilities.
-
Well somebody must have wanted him desperately.

Sunderland and Hull are not near.

You need to look at the accounts for differences between clubs. There really isn't a lot of difference. Most run at a loss of some sort. We should not be misled by the headline figures for the player sales since these are not often fully paid up front and in cash flow terms there is not a lot of surplus and in any case you need to look at the figures over several years to get a true picture. In a few seasons we have gone from a League One club owing tens of millions to a Premier League club worth over £100 million. That increase has to come from somewhere. Other clubs will not have had to find this increase. The big TV money has yet to kick in, hasn't it?
-
Nobody really seems to know why we voted out. Every opinion seems to be a different opinion.
-
Why would this be relevant?
-
Plenty better, Cuco for example.
-
Worth remembering that the $ is particularly weak at the moment.
-
Isn't that trolling and therefore not appropriate on here?
-
Is that wages figure of £80million or so just players' wages?
-
It doesn't matter who's in charge, in any business any losses you make somehwere have to be compensated by the gains.
-
I've always thought of him as a bit of a delight.

I think I've got a record of theirs that they made back in the 60s
