A season ticket holder will have given several hundred pounds to the club. A member who only goes to aways will have given much less. Remember that the club does not get any reecipts from away league matches. What is so special about away matches anyway? Surely it should be home games that count.

There is nothing to stop us doing that at the moment and trading with somebody on the other side of the planet can never be as efficient or convenient as dealing with somebody who is only a few hours away. Putting up barriers can only reduce trade, not increase it. Immigration has been a probelm since the early 1990s and certainly since 2001.
