  1. No I don't. That first half was depressingly dismal. One ball got driven right across the West Brom box and they had seven players in there. We had none.
  2. Nothing today was Forster's fault. Find another scapegoat.
  3. I've realised today that he can't run with the ball and pick out a pass at the same time. He has to stop and by that time the opposition has regrouped.
  4. We couldn't afford to keep him and I'm sure we can't afford to buy him back.
  5. Out, out thrice out. Not tomorrow perhaps, but surely we can't put up with another season of this dire football?
  6. I don't post much these days but that aimless drivel out there today has made me very angry. Here are some well known sayings from English football in case our Clod (French pronunciation) doesn't know them: Always play your best team. Nothing beats a settled team. When you've just scored don't let the opposition get the ball. Defenders: don't let the ball bounce. The game usually goes to the team that wants it the most. This rotation is killing us. There is no understanding, purpose or cohesion. Most of the opposition seem to be a foot taller than our players and there always seems to be more of them on the pitch than ours. To make things even less fair they run about more and pass the ball to each other. Most of them can also run towards our goal taking the ball with them. There's a bloody great hole in the middle of the pitch where our midfield should be. All this is grossly unfair and shouldn't be allowed. Is it like this in French football?
  7. There was no contact inside the penalty area. None whatsoever.
  8. I am an ST with two domestic aways and I had an email from the club this morning saying that I was eligible for a ticket to Anfield.
  9. He's just realised that he can see right through one ear and out the other.
  10. Why, thank you kind Sir My sentiments of the season are also extended to one and all.
  11. Very interesting, many thanks for this. Incidentally, the station name of Bishopstoke was changed to Eastleigh because it had been causing confusion with Basingstoke.
  12. And the referee holding one arm straight up indicating that it was an indirect free kick.
  13. You silly little boy. That is not a lie.
  14. That is not our membership fee. We pay a discounted rate which is not £350m a week. We never have paid that and we never shall, unless we rejoin at some stage in the future. Why not make up some other figure like £10bn a day and then rebate that? It's exactly the same result.
  15. Don't be so f***ing patronising. This is supposed to be a forum for adults. Give me one example of where I have lied and then when you can't find it I demand an apology.
  16. It has tanked. It is still tanked.
  17. Please don't accuse me of lying. That is a very serious allegation to which I strongly object. Just consider the reduction in taxes on a 1% lower GDP than it would have been and you will get some idea of the figures involved. £350m is a figure plucked out of thin air. It bears no relation to our gross contribution and has no relevance to the cost of our membership.
  18. I shall be on that train. I'm staying in Verona Wednesday night and Milan Thursday night taking the train back to Verona Friday lunchtime.
  19. Nor did it take into account the loss of GDP from leaving which far outweighs the net contribution.
  20. Because it was nowhere near that amount and we all know that any savings will be minor and certainly wot be spent on the NHS.
  21. It was factually incorrect by a very big margin and deliberately misleading. Some people will have believed it and I have even seen this figure repeated on here by some.
  22. Nothing we ever get will be as good as what we have now with the EU and it will be many years before we get it. An FTA is nowhere near as beneficial as the Single Market.
  23. Matt Ridley lives in a world of his own. It begins with 'Cloud' and ends with 'Land' and in the middle are a load of cuckoos.
  24. Once Article 50 is triggered it doesn't matter what we want. It will be take it or leave it.
  25. Goalkeepers have been allowed to move for a long time now, certainly since before I swallowed my whistle. They are not allowed to come forward off their line though but this does not seem to be enforced. Also I thought that from this season the kicker was not allowed to hesitate or 'stutter' in his run up.
