  1. I found this guide but I don't knoiw how reliable it is. http://www.football-stadiums.co.uk/grounds/italy/san-siro/
  2. I have repeatedly made the point about trying and failing to control net migration from the rest of the world. Presumably after Brexit all these illegal Indian immigrants will be repatriated? 'arrogance of the Remain camp'? That's a bit rich.
  3. What does it have to do with him? He is not elected and has no more democratic mandate to speak for anybody than I do. That doesn't stop the BBC dragging him in at every opportunity. Breakfast means Breakfast
  4. Present company excepted, I was thinking about English football fans in general and their perceived reputation abroad.
  5. Thanks for the offer SG but I think I read that the club is only going to send the tickets to the registered address of the supporter but I can't find the link at the moment. My daughter lives nearby so I may be able to get it sent to her address. Ah, here it is: http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/article/2016-17/20160901-europa-league-tickets-internazionale-southampton-3285334.aspx
  6. Correct. The bundle of all three games is only on sale to season ticket holders until 18:00 Thursday 15th September.
  7. Good point,. If someone, well done the referee
  8. Having had another look I don't think that the registration was anything to do with buying tickets for games, more just signing up for a general online account. I have made a trial run for the Hapoel game at Inter and I got as far as making the payment. From this it would seem that the Italian restrictions are dependent on where you live if you're an Italian citizen. If you live in the region of the opposing team then you need a fan card. These FAQs answer some questions: http://www.inter.it/en/stadio/ticket-FAQs Tickets can be bought online or at one of loads of ticket agencies which are shown on the map at the bottom of this page: http://www.inter.it/en/biglietteria
  9. Me too, he was very good today. I don't think you can blame the keeper. Sometimes the easiest way to score is a shot between his legs.
  10. Well done! I've been dallying with the idea of getting a Siamo Noi card but there are drawbacks. First, I'd have to have it delivered in the next three weeks because I'm out of the country after that until the day before I fly out for the game. Then I'd need to get it authenticated before the match and I'd assume that if they had sent me a card then I could'nt have a print at home ticket but would have to use the card. I think I'll wait until tickets go on sale and then see what happens.
  11. Which can be self-fulfilling if ticket allocation is restricted to those who go to the most away games, primarily the younger, single male intent of having a 'good time'.
  12. The opposition have too much time to get behind the ball and get organised. I suspect that Puel may not have appreciated how fast and frantic t is in the Premier League.
  13. You could argue that they aren't the worst sides if we can't beat them. Would you have said the same about Leicester at this stage of last season? (Be prepared to see Leicester cited in every discussion about any aspect of the Premier League for the next few seasons )
  14. Yes indeed. Anybody who wants to criticise should try if first. Or as Steve Martin (and others) said: 'Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, when you do criticise him, you'll be a mile away and have his shoes.'
  15. Isn't the defence also important, perhaps more important that the attack? You cannot deduce anything from one or two games. Any team can fluke a goal or make a silly mistake. In my bookcase I have a copy of 'Facts From Figures' by M.J. Moroney and chapter 8 is titled 'Goals floods and horse-kicks' and is about the Poisson distribution which relates to a large number of events each with a small probability of success and goals in football matches fall into this category. If you think that match statistics are significant then it might be worth a read.
  16. So good that it went right over my head the first time. I salute you, sir
  17. More on the Siamo Noi card, Once you have registered and logged in then go to this page http://tdt.inter.it/?hash=08667dfc7771e2ec0ede91c262e9eda4&l=en Upload your photo, passport (scan? I didn't go that far) and credit card info and they'll send it to you. You then need to activate it at the ground. Presumably they verify you against the card. Might be worth a try if not too expensive.
  18. I seem to remember there was talk of £1m which was still too much. He's had a lot of player development in the lower leagues since then, several years in fact.
  19. I've just been reading the instructions for getting a Siamo Noi card. In Italy you fill in the online form and they'll send the card to you. The card costs €10 and the postage is €2.50 in Italy. I don't know if they'll post to the UK, can't see why not. Alternatively you can pick your card up from the ticket agency (there are hundreds of them all over Italy) where you applied for it. This is not much use to us. The card acts similarly to our electronic season tickets with the matches uploaded to it. This page is interesting: http://www.inter.it/en/cessione/1 It would appear that you can transfer/assign your ticket to another person. You need to take the original ticket plus the printed transfer authorisation to the turnstiles. Hmm
  20. Net spend on its own is not particularly relevant. A club might sign a player who is out or near the end of contract for a low figure but then choose to pay higher wages instead.
  21. Did they say what that debt consisted of? In the accounting world there are many possibilities.
  22. Well somebody must have wanted him desperately.
