That's always the problem with a name change and re-branding. You spend millions promoting a brand and expect everybody to sing to a different songsheet the moment you repackage the product.
Of course wages are important too but either way there is no question they have done well with what they have.
I see that Bournemouth have been fined £7.6m for overspending in the promotion season: http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/14467311.Cherries_slapped_with_massive_fine/
True, although I did read somewhere that they have a net spending on players of £50m over the last two seasons. Also that Man Utd have spent more over the same period than Leicester have done in their entire history.
I wouldn't blame him for that, the ball was deflected up at him. Maybe he could have been facing away from goal a bit more but when the ball's pinging around like that there's not a lot you can do.
Holloway's comments are hilarious. They show the freeze-frame at the moment the free kick is taken and he says "but we can also see the linesman so he's not flagging yet so I don't think the offence is here".
Er.. Ian, the flag hasn't gone up because the ball hasn't been kicked yet.
Yes he is, look at it again. The Lino shows by his arm waving that the player had come back from an offside position and when he heads the ball becomes involved with play. At the moment the free kick is taken he is offside, end of story.
They've just shown it again. Ayala is offside when the free kick is taken, not at the end of the move. The commentators are only concentrating on the final pass.
Nothing to do with the actual rates at all. In case you (or others) did not know, VAT is not charged on intra-community dealings but is charged on imports from outside. This makes an enormous difference to cash flow and gives us a significant advantage when selling to another EU country as opposed to them buying from within their own.
Oor VAT rates are not on the whole set by the EU but by our own skint government.
There are still potential traps at present grounds. One in particular that I know of is the away section at Ipswich. The toilet and food area has only one narrow entrance and no fire exit. How they get a safety licence is beyond me.
