Quite true. What they conveniently forget is how much London depends on the infrastructure of the surrounding counties - housing, education, health, leisure and so on.
I agree to some extent that the pledge will be altered and either watered down or extended for England's benefit, but basically the YES vote was for changes and the NO vote for the status quo and anything else that came with it was a juicy bonus.
I watched the Chinese film 'Hero' (2002) last night. Visually stunning, one of those that stays in the mind afterwards. I'm not a fan of all that supernatural martial art swordfighting stuff but worth it for the visuals alone.
