  1. No, it was a few yards upfield from the 'D' and the Norwich player had a clear run on goal. Fonte's was just a sloppy pass back towards goal that he played without looking.
  2. Not just you, I had to read it a few times but if you're being charitable you can blame auto-correct. I always do.
  3. We could very easily have conceded on several occasions due to him passing short balls to a player under pressure. As for his kicking, it was at least five that went straight into touch before he found the pitch, and it's a very big target. He knew it was bad and he acknowledged as much to the Chapel.
  4. He was pulled back so it would have been a foul.
  5. JWP was a very lucky boy. If they hadn't scored he'd have been sent off.
  6. Just a missing apostrophe, easily done on a smartphone. I've seen worse on here.
  7. Chelsea, far too good for us.
  8. Hmm... sloppier than a bagful of slops from the planet Slop on a sloppy day. I'll take the three points though Are we safe now?
  9. If we're off to the Costa Brava again I'd like the dates so I can arrange my holiday, please
  10. Stolen from the locals for the sake of the Americans: http://www.theguardian.com/stage/2012/feb/15/diego-garcia-few-man-fridays
  11. That would be nice it would be the ultimate insult.
  12. Instead of floundering outside the Eurozone do you mean?
  13. You should see me now
  14. He drove ok, he once gave me a lift in his Hillman Hunter estate.
  15. All of this. He will always be Anthony Wedgwood Benn, formerly Viscount Stansgate to me. He never had the faintest clue what it was like to be poor or what went on in the real world. I once saw him in a TV debate where he thought that bank base rate was what you actually paid for borrowing money.
  16. Spot on mate, the only thing I might have seen is the first episode of LOST but I thought it all a load of pretentious twaddle. Like a lot if these types of show it had all the appearance of being made up as it went along by a team of scriptwriters who didn't really know where they were going. I'm also not a great fan of hand-held jerky zoomed-in camerawork, it gets between me and what's going on so please alert me if this is the case in any of these. W Grandma is a great fan of crime thrillers, especially continental foreign language ones, so my viewing opportunities are limited after football and the odd action film. I rely on my son for recommendations and he sometimes lends me box sets. I'll have a chat with him.
  17. You think that's bad, explain to me how this can happen: http://www.edp24.co.uk/news/video_and_photo_gallery_norfolk_fire_station_destroyed_in_blaze_investigations_continue_1_3422676
  18. The only one of these that I've seen is Rome, and there won't be any more of those now that the set has burnt down
  19. I think there was surface wreckage to help them find the location. It might be an idea to have a buoy that was released though.
  20. It might be underwater.
  21. I never begrudged him his holiday in the sun. I wonder if we shall see his like again. As for the eulogies, it reminds me of this sketch:
  22. 'That team was good enough to win'? Good enough to lose 3-0 it seems to me.
  23. Yeah, these poles are everywhere these days since they joined the European Union.
  24. Is this Goatgirl we're talking about?
  25. Aren't the hollow points used by sky marshals for the same reason?
