Oi! Why not ask me? What I was trying to say was that the most important thing is that whoever we sign is good enough for the Premiership even if thay haven't played in it before. I'm sure that Gastón is for example. BUt I also think that we need a core of players who have been there and done it.

We're already 8 games into a 38 game season and we have 4 points. Now, a couple of wins would change that pretty quickly but we are already a couple of wins behind what's needed and I see nothing about our defence that leads me to believe that we can get organised into a tight-fisted unit that only lets in an average of 0.5 goals per game, let alone a run of clean sheets. I would dearly love to be proved wrong.

I think it's already too late. It will need one hell of a turn around to start picking up enough points to survive. I'm not saying it's impossible, just improbable. To be honest, I'm not really enjoing this season so far.
