TBH Pato isn't ready to be starting week-in, week-out either. JW was out on loan at Shrewsbury but only played half a dozen games before getting recalled then broke his ankle.

One for the future. Probably could do with a spell out on loan to a L2 or BSP club this season to give him some experience.

After Saturday's game, whilst driving back up north, I tuned in to Radio Northampton for their after-match phone in, just to see if I could find out anything about tomorrow's opposition. They were giving Stuart Gray absolute pelters. Signings gone from one extreme (nappy-rash youngsters) to the other (OAP's) and that he still hadn't managed to sort out anything like a cohesive midfield in all the time he's been there.

Schniederlin was quality for 3/4's of the game until he ran out of steam and was very unlucky that at least one of the two long range efforts did not go in. Wotton on the other-hand was complete and utter pants! As soon as he got the ball, didn't know what to do with it and was always looking for someone to bail him out.
