The thing is if there is no quality available or willing to drop down to League 1, then loans are the way to go. I for one, do not want us to sign players that are no better than we've got. We have a history of doing that over the last 6 years, which has got us in the sh!t position we now find ourselves. The Exodus Geohaghon thread says it all. Sign this guy up even though the only people who have ever seen him play thinks he is garbage!

Agreed. The executive suites are named after the legends and the stands are sensibly named already. The only valid reason I can see for renaming the stands is if we were to sell the naming rights for commercial reasons.

No different than any other business or company IMO. Directorate reporting to the CEO, Upper management reporting to the Directorate and lower/middle management reporting to the upper management. In this case CEO is Cortese, the Directorate is the so far unnamed Sporting Director, the upper management is Pardew and lower/middle management is Wilkins and the other coaching staff. In affect the SD is AP's boss but in the org. chart is currently TBA.

I wouldn't bet against it being Hammond AND Wotton in the middle!
