  1. I'll kick off with the reasons for those choice of words: 1) AGENTS.
  2. Tomorrow apparently!!
  3. The non-shirters will have to wear an Aquascutum Harrington with their name on the back!!
  4. I should imagine Perry will be rested again (doesn't do Tuesdays apparently), therefore Thomas and Lancashire will probably play.
  5. I think that if we were to go all the way to Wembley, the people purchasing tickets to the earlier rounds, should get first refusal. That should guarantee decent crowds.
  6. Yes but it's the way some people come out and say they don't believe or think something being said is wrong. FF said what he said and was called an outright "bullsh!tter" which is out of order.
  7. Exactly the same thing that happened on Saturday, when the Northam started singing their t*atty little D-I-S-C-O song! :minigun:
  8. That's not quite true!! FF posted something that he said he knew to be true (about Pulis Snr being approached to be manager before Lowe came back IIRC) and several people called it bollix!!
  9. Can Watford afford him now? Has he dropped his wage demands?
  10. Dean Hammond came on as a 73rd minute substitute for Colchester in their defeat against Orient.
  11. I don't know if anybody has picked up on this interview or not (apologies if so) but makes interesting reading. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/football/article6806155.ece
  12. http://www.griffinpark.org/forums/showthread.php?p=1452448#post1452448 Pretty fair IMO.
  13. I think we've only done it a handful of times (certainly since the Prem days) and then pretty much only when we've lost the toss. Since our win percentage in CCC and L1 is nothing short of woeful, I would suggest that we have lost a damn site more kicking towards the Northam first-half.

According to SSN he is currently having a medical at Reading.

IMHO Absolute tosh!!! He was ok and scored the goal.
  16. I think what is being said, is that we are signing players as we are going along and they have had very few training sessions let alone matches to get to know each others games etc. This was certainly very apparent in the first half Saturday, where players were bunching, not seeing players in space and everything was just disjointed. It did get better as the game went on and will get better still when the new players have bedded in and everyone gets to know their roll in the team.
  17. I agree fully and have been saying this for several years. WTF do we not actually try it for once!!! I'm sure that KD only chooses to kick that way to ensure he gets his usual reception from the Northam when he comes out for the second half.
  18. I think you'll find that a lot of lads went back to playing on a Saturday after we dropped out of the Premiership. I know of several that gave up playing once we moved from the Dell to St Mary's because they could get a Season Ticket or at least regular matchday tickets but the lure of actually playing was greater than watching football in the CCC.
  19. Shouldn't this discussion be in the lounge or Golfing Monthly forum or something similar?
  20. This thread also got me thinking about Jack Boyle. He signed on a short-term contract ( until June '09). He was apparently offered a new permanent contract in March, when Parry Paterson and Mills were but nothing confirming that on his OS profile page. On the HCDAJFU listing he is in the Academy Squad (no number) list, with his contract not yet renewed. he OS however, lists him No.30. Saw him in the second-half of the Cheltenham friendly and thought he looked quite useful.
  21. Probable even!
  22. There could be any amount of reasons that the visa application may be turned down but age and length of contract may well count against him. I can't imagine at his age we would be offering more than 2 years and maybe the Border Agencies aren't prepared to offer a work permit for only that period? There is also the FL's home grown quota rules that are coming into force, which might have something to do with it? Also, It wouldn't surprise me that being in the Division we are currently in, doesn't count against us when it comes to signing foreigners because there are more than enough EU born players to choose from.
  23. Well, yes basically. If he doesn't have a residential visa, then he will have to leave the country.
  24. To be fair, coming to a ground like St Mary's is like a big cup draw to a club like Brentford. It's not too far and they had a much bigger ticket allocation than they would have to just about any away ground they visited in years. I would suspect that we will see similar away followings from the likes of Yeovil, Bristol Rovers, Exeter, Brighton, Southend and Milton Keynes. Along with the bigger teams like Leeds, Norwich and Charlton.
