I think we can all agree that... a) Liz Truss is an utter embarrassment of a FS with the intellectual capacity of a blancmange b) the claim from the Russian minister that her comments were the basis for them to raise their nuclear threat level is an utterly absurd excuse from a government led by a paranoid megalomaniac.

I'm unclear - is that Russian armour that's been destroyed or is it Ukranian?
-
Didn't realise there was only one of them.

WH 1-0 up against Wolves now. Keeps Wolves in our sights but puts WH 10 points ahead of us (having played a game more).
-
The problem is that any claims he makes about standing up to Russia's financial influence just sounds like empty rhetoric when you consider his government is swimming in dirty Russian money... https://www.businessinsider.com/russia-report-donors-boris-johnson-conservative-party-2020-7?r=US&IR=T Any action taken now is a simple case of shutting the stable door after the horse has bolted. It's sheer hypocrisy for him to demonise Russia for buying influence abroad when he himself has personally benefitted from it.

Out to 500/1 on Bet365 now. Anyone going to waste their money?

We're gonna be last again tonight aren't we 😒
-
I reckon Burnley will get out of it, and be replaced by either Leeds or Brentford. But Everton's run-in is savage, and good performances aren't enough. They didn't look likely to score tonight. Ashley Cole still an utter prick I see 😂

Any further down the arm and it would have been I suspect.
-
Comical from Keane. They're deep in the shit now. If Burnley had found a winner at Palace earlier Everton would be in the drop zone this evening.
-
Happy with that. Pleased for Villa to get their much needed win today rather than still be looking for it next weekend.
-
They don't have the stomach for a fight. A squad fill of lightweights and son-in-laws, and a fan base with no patience who will turn on Lampard quickly if things don't improve.
-
I wouldn't be so sure about that. As of this morning the gap is only 5 points, and we're the only team among those around us that is currently grinding out results consistently, and we've got a very favourable run of fixtures ahead. One thing I've come to learn with Ralph is not to underestimate this team when it is in this kind of form. Let's see where we are at the start of April shall we?

Still better than Lukaku's 'performance' last weekend.
-
More than a few people on his thread who I suspect will be perfectly happy to see that their earlier pessimism was misplaced.

So the UN security council tries to pass a resolution censuring Russia's actions, but it's vetoed by Russia themselves - who are currently chairing the council. Is anyone else seeing the major flaws in the UN's setup here?

We're back to 2020 form. 2021 was just a year-long blip it seems.
-
Well I know there's still a long way to go yet, but with the form we're in it's starting to look like even this (one of the most optimistic posts on this thread) could have been a little on the conservative side.

I genuinely didn't think we would let Norwich back into this, but just like with Everton last week, I wish we could get our second goals a bit earlier to settle the nerves.
-
This has got 1-1 written all over it
-
How's that not a foul on Ely then?
-
We can't take off everyone who has missed chances tonight - we're only allowed 3 subs!
-
Not sure how this is still only 1-0.
