  1. Come on Rotherham! Need your keeper to have another blinder tonight!
  2. No Flynn still then. Shame, but no point risking him.
  3. Just came across this on Reddit... https://www.reddit.com/r/SheffieldUnited/s/v7juqhrPSy
  4. FT won 2-1.
  5. Looks like he's gonna play a pivotal role in yet another 5-0 defeat. The question is - would it have been worse had he stayed on the pitch?
  6. And he even had the gall to plead innocence to the ref!
  7. Nothing to see here. Just the former and prospective future president hawking his own brand clown shoes at a sneaker con* in Philadelphia... https://www.usnews.com/news/best-states/pennsylvania/articles/2024-02-17/trump-hawks-399-branded-shoes-at-sneaker-con-a-day-after-355-million-ruling I guess he's got to cover his legal costs somehow. No doubt these godawful things cost about $2 to produce in China. * CON being the operative word here.
  8. We've got them at SMS in a few weeks. Would be good to atone for that 5-0 at the SoL in September.
  9. 1-0 up already. Didn't expect them to drop points today really.
  10. Indeed. He maybe didn't hold the ball up as well as some would like, but he showed some good movement and touches, and was involved in a lot of our good attacking play during that first 30 mins. I'd be inclined to stick with him.
  11. I'm assuming you mean Stuart and not David (unless you've got a thing for baldies of course).
  12. Big shout as well to Aribo and Edozie for the part they played in that. Aribo has come back from a month away at the AFCON and seems to have engaged a beast mode that I didn't know he had in his locker. It's almost like a new signing. I was worried that Edozie might take a while to rebuild the momentum and form he had built up before his injury, but he's totally hit the ground running and his end product is as good as it was in December. Great to see.
  13. Stephens gave them too much space on that wing by being too narrow in the first half, but was much improved in the second and defensively much better than Manning has ever been. I wouldn't be rushing Bree back into the team just yet after a long injury layoff. There's stiltons of games left and wheel need to reintegrate him more caerphilly.
  14. Indeed, and AA can't play himself back into form if he's sat on the bench either. But I agree it's a dilemma. His finishing has been woeful for the last few games.
  15. Yeah he made a real difference when he came on. Good to have him back, and his lack of minutes at the AFCON may have been a real blessing for us.
  16. Not having that. His arm was up because he was running at full tilt and it's not possible to run with your arms straight by your side. It wasn't in an unnatural position and there was no movement of the arm towards the ball. He actually tried to move it out of the way. Never a penalty.
  17. Perfect response to Tuesday's blip. Something something... we're shit away at top teams.. something something.
  18. Oh FFS stop going on about that non-penalty. It clearly wasn't intentional.
  19. Or he's just doing what he's been instructed to.
  20. Home fans are quiet aren't they.
  21. Great save Baz!
  22. We look instantly better now Charles has gone off.
  23. Aah, that caught Mara by surprise and he couldn't get any power on it.
  24. Never. You could see he was trying to move his arm out of the way. Would have been very harsh.
