I think you might have cracked the case. Perhaps the guy was a deep cover Pompey agent, disguised as a Saints analyst, trying to derail our promotion hopes.

Or perhaps we're just taking our time getting all our ducks in a row before responding to what is a serious allegation. I'd like to think that if it was true, then we would have considered the high likelihood of getting caught and had an oven-ready response already prepared. Or perhaps we're just all overthinking this.

And the in the last ten games, Boro have only managed to beat the bottom two teams in the form table over that period, conceding more goals than we have in the process. The last few games we have badly missed Stephens who is expected to be back for the playoffs, and Downes who has sat out the last three suspended and should be as fresh as it is possible to be at this stage of the season. I feel more confident than I did when we played WBA 2 years ago.

That's the spirit!

Yeah cos the Daily Mail has never, ever, ever printed anything that wasn't true has it 🙄

Yeah they're an odd bunch down in Whiteley.

It is now, yeah.

Congratulations to Wu Yize. What a talent.

Just the 1400 Palestinians killed during Operation Cast Lead in 2008/09. Obviously not even worth mentioning 🙄

The fat lady ain't singing yet.

Fucksake Villa. Everyone outside of North London is depending on you tonight.

A post that would make @trousers proud 😉

Seems a very restrictive set of criteria. I wonder how many tickets will be left over after those windows? Also, 2100 is a shit allocation. It's only about 6% of the Riverside's capacity. I hope we are being equally stingy with the away allocation for the home leg.

Club needs to pull their finger out. 6 days until the first leg and it's not even showing up as a fixture on the OS...
-
Boro favourites to win their home leg, understandably. But we're clear favourites to win over two legs.
-
While our OS currently isn't even displaying the fixtures, let alone even announced when tickets will go on sale 😕

The L1 playoff chase was very close in the end. Stevenage snuck into 6th, leapfrogging Luton and Plymouth with an injury-time winner against Wigan. They will play Stockport, who started that day not guaranteed to even make the playoffs but ended up third, scoring in the 98th minute against Barnsley to make it 3-1.

Yes but that's not what he said in his post. He said win 9/10 and beat Ipswich 6-0, so that assumes still drawing with Bristol City. If we had won all ten, we might have got top two. But it was always a ridiculous long shot.
-
He just slipped today though. He was clearly favourite to get the ball and I have no issue with him coming for it.

Hats off to him. I was dubious that he was the right appointment at the time. I thought we got very lucky in that 4-game run when he was interim. That was followed up by some truly horrific performances - away at Oxford and Boro. I genuinely didn't think he would last til the end of January. He was looking destined to be yet another failed SR appointment who was thrown in the deep end and would never get another significant manager's job. It's safe to say that he has surpassed all expectations. To get us from where we were in October and then again in Jan, to 4th place (only 4 points off second) and an FA cup semi final, is nothing short of miraculous. Herzlichen glückwunsch, und danke Herr Eckert. Zehr gut!
