That's a ridiculous goal!
-
Immediate impact from Russo. What a ball in. Hemp has to score that.

Didn't get to go in the end (someone else had already bagsied the ticket) so just watching on TV. Frantic start from Sweden and they were exploiting the space well down the left. Got a bit lucky with the header off the bar. England came back into it though and got a great goal from Beth Mead. Could hear the roar from my living room.

The United Kingdom and the Death of Boris Johnson as we know it.

I've just been offered a free ticket last minute 🙂 Looking forward to this one. Both teams very strong but I think England will shade it. Sweden are well organised but they don't have the same goal threat England do. They were so dominant in their qtr final game but took them until the last minute to find a breakthrough.

He was good for us up until that injury, but was never the same player after it.

You're thinking of Higginbottam and Prutton.

Imagine the meltdown Batman would be having if Biden had suggested injecting disinfectant to combat Covid.

Looks like some of their own fans agree with you... https://www.grandoldteam.com/forum/threads/frank-lampard.114412/post-9812309

With the obvious caveat that a YouTube compilation made even Steve de Ridder look good... I had never heard of him before today but this looks like a decent signing. He's quite obviously got a good first touch and can finish. That instantly makes him far better than Shane Long ever was.

Mccarthy wouldn't have saved that.

It's coming home, apparently.

No they actually are one of the better teams. They were absolutely brilliant against Norway. Just Spain have done their homework and neutralised them quite effectively tonight.
-
Worked like a charm 😎

Really can't see England getting back into this. Will be a well deserved win for Spain who have got their tactics spot on.

Horrifying. Genuinely like a scene from a post-apocalyptic movie. Thankfully no casualties though.
-
Neither was Tino. Didn't stop him having an instant impact though.

My nephew has played against Delap numerous times at youth / U23 level, and he reckons he is a similar type of player to Broja, but technically better. He was absolutely spot on with his assessment of Tino this time last year, having played against him loads as well, so that's good enough for me.

I think you're right. Truss is trying to appeal to the older generation of Tory members who adored Thatcher by trying to imitate her (she even wore an identical outfit in the first TV debate), and it seems to be working. My mum (not a member, but certainly an old fashioned Tory voter) thinks she would be the sensible choice and would see the country in good hands to see of the 'threat' of socialism.

This, and I've been told that FL is a "distant" manager who doesn't really pay much attention to the youth teams, so it's unlikely he developed much of a personal relationship with Colwill from his time as Chelsea manager.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Montreal_Protocol The reason this was successful was because it didn't represent an existential threat to the continued profiteering of a handful of corporations with enormous lobbying power over neoliberal governments. Unlike the situation with GHG emission reduction, the world was able to implement the necessary changes without strong resistance from those with a huge vested interest in maintaining the status quo.

Who made those claims?

This is everything that's wring with modern day 'debate'... Idiots who get all their info on a subject from places like Breitbart or Spiked, thinking their 'opinion' is just as valid as that of people who have studied and worked in the field.
