For their second goal, I still can't understand why none of our idiot defenders didn't just foul the striker and take one for the team. You'd think they would all know by now that allowing an opposing player through for a one on one against Baz is pretty much guaranteed to be a goal. We're just so soft and naive.

Don't think I can even be bothered to watch. The Tonda bubble has well and truly burst. We've reverted to an even shitter version of Russball, our forwards have forgotten how to score, and our defence is more generous than fucking Santa Claus.

In a one on one situation, it's the keeper's singular responsibility to make the goal look as small as possible to the attacking player. Baz does the opposite. He is so slow to come out and close down the angles, and his starting position is always suspect. Combine all that with his total inability to save anything low to his left, and you just know instantly when a player gets through like that we will concede. Every. Single. Time.

At this rate I'll be surprised if he even lasts that long. Another fraudulent, cheap option, yes-man appointment by the utterly clueless pricks running the club.

They're doubling up on him so it's not surprising. In those early Tonda games he was an unknown. Now that the rest of the league have cottoned on to how dangerous he can be, he's not finding anywhere near as much space anymore.
