It's only a straight red if it is deemed to be violent conduct. Otherwise only a yellow. He wasn't angry or arguing with the ref, he just wanted him to get out of the way so he could take a quick free kick. If course the fact that the ref was standing over the ball should have been a clue that he wasn't going to allow that anyway, so it was a bit dumb but it certainly wasn't violent.

He has been much improved, I agree. But he still made a few bad errors last night that on another day could have been costly. You only need to look back at the comments on this thread during the game to see that I'm not alone in thinking that. I'm just making the point that if he does have to miss the semi final, he's not irreplaceable.

Putting any faith in anything from either a football commentator or an AI is a bit foolish. Let's wait and get clarification from the club. Yep. I was dubious about wanting us to go up only to get embarrassed again like last season. But it's the only way we're going to see the likes of Leo, Peretz and Charles still playing for us next season, and I have total faith that this team with Tonda at the helm would be light years better than our last PL team.
