  1. Very gracious of you 😉
  2. Swap his shirt for a yellow one.
  3. He's never going to score is he 😔
  4. Yep. So rather than playing just one square peg in a round hole at RB, we did it all over the pitch instead.
  5. I'm in Greece getting it on iPlayer via a VPN.
  6. Jeez. How far behind is my stream!?
  7. He should have this printed on the back of his shirt.
  8. Took an extra touch and lost his balance. Should have scored though.
  9. That's not a foul. Ref caved to the howls of the arsenal fans.
  10. Just please fucking stop doing that Leo.
  11. BBC maintaining their usual high standards I see 🙄
  12. Pretty sure that would be classed as force majeure.
  13. Totally agree. For as long as I can remember, we've always been shite in the first game after an international break. So in a way it's good that the fixtures were re-arranged for this. It gives us a chance to get our customary crap post-international performance and result out of our system in a game that doesn't really matter*, rather than using up one of our few remaining league games for it. And if by some miracle we do manage to win it then that's just an unexpected bonus. * Yes I'm aware it does really matter to some. What I mean is it's a free hit that won't hurt our playoff chances if we lose.
  14. Relative to what, Einstein?
  15. It really doesn't. The road I live on was changed to 20 a couple of years ago, after a bad accident when someone drove into a neighbor's garden wall, and after a very short period of adjustment it just feels totally normal now.
  16. Staying in Athens and ticking off a bucket list item - visiting the Acropolis / Parthenon and standing in awe of these incredible structures that have stood for thousands of years.
  17. On a similar note... "We're sorry. We are experiencing a higher than normal volume of calls at the moment and there may be some delay in connecting you to an agent". Literally every time I call one of these places. Why can't they just be honest and say "Actually this is totally normal - we simply don't want to hire the required number of agents to be able to answer your call within a reasonable amount of time, so tough shit you'll just have to sit and listen to our interminable hold music on continuous repeat while you wait".
  18. He's getting more and more like this guy every day...
  19. We owe them one for the 2003 final (was that really 23 years ago!? 😳) So a somewhat flukey 1-0 win, with a goal coming about from a lucky rebound followed by them having a goal disallowed for a marginal offside then being denied a late equaliser by a "how the fuck did he keep that out!" point blank save from Peretz, would do just nicely. We can dream, can't we?
  20. It's dead Jim! https://variety.com/2026/tv/news/star-trek-starfleet-academy-canceled-season-2-1236696816/
  21. Aside from us having a better win percentage, better PPG, more clean sheets and an overall better GD under Tonda than we got over the season in 23/24, and the fact that RM actually admitted he didn't concern himself with the opposition too much and instead focused on his own game plan in numerous interviews during his tenure, yeah this is a top post 👍
  22. The fact that we put up extra advertising hoardings along the touchlines to mitigate Oxford's threat from long throws (that they evidently complained about) would suggest we are indeed doing very detailed homework on upcoming opponents. The sheer fucking hubris of RM in believing this wasn't necessary and we just needed to believe in our own system 🤦
  23. Probably a bit of recency bias here but Stewart's goal at Bramall Lane earlier this season is right up there with the best I have seen from the stands.
  24. While conceding 20 more than Leeds who finished one place above us, and only two less than Birmingham who were relegated. Clean sheets are what's needed for automatic promotion. Baz had 11 all season in 23/24, while Leicester and Ipswich both got 15. Peretz has already managed 6 in 13 games since joining. I agree with you that there are other factors in our recent upturn in form. A settled back 4, an excellent RB in Bree, a better focal point in attack etc.. But the impact of having a better keeper who not only saves a lot more shots but commands his area, comes for crosses, shouts at and organises the back four (all things that Baz was hopeless at) cannot be underestimated.
