In one breath they are saying it's not related to Brexit, and in the next they say they were won over by the location - giving "access to supply chains and markets". But it absolutely, definitely, definitely isn't because of Brexit. In other completely unrelated news, Honda has had to suspend its UK manufacturing because of supply chain problems. Take one guess what the cause of that is.

If he was left footed, maybe. Not a chance he would get a right footed shot over the wall and past the keeper at the near post from that position. It would have to be curled off the outside of his foot. He's good, but he's not Superman.
-
In fairness to Jack, the replay clearly showed Crouch had hold of his shirt, but he was still a silly boy to put his hand up with the ball coming towards it. Especially as there was no VAR for that season.

Oh Jesus. I've just seen that Paddy Power advert with Le Tiss & co. I can never un-see that! 😬
-
I disagree with those saying JWP would have scored if it was given as a FK, not from that position on the right. If it was on the left, maybe. But there's a very good chance he would have put it straight on the head of Ings or JV to bury it instead.

Christ they are labouring the point about that penalty decision on Sky aren't they!
-
Very happy with the result of course, but I'm not sure we really deserved it.
-
Surprised it's only 4 mins added on. Thought there was more than that just for the VAR penalty check.
-
Initial contact was outside, but it looked like the contact that actually impeded KWP was inside. I have to assume that's the logic the VAR ref has applied.
-
Ings on for Djenepo. Walcott moving to the left I assume.
-
I think Djenepo has contributed more but he's a red card waiting to happen. I would hook him for Redmond.

It's a Vestergooooooaaalllll!
-
Ref is a bit whistle happy isn't he. Given them Loads of soft FKs so far.
-
Awful game from a neutral perspective so far. Dunk should have scored.
-
Yep. Clocked that. "Don't mention the L word"

Salisu on the bench. He is real after all!

Anybody watched Raised by Wolves yet? It's all on Sky/NowTV now. I read about it and saw a trailer a while back and it looks like it could be excellent. Plenty of people raving about it online anyway.
-
Oh FFS, do I really need to explain it to you? Really?
-
And you believing that this one single incident is what it is all about is even more ridiculous.

He repeats the claim that they are "anti-family", which is a deliberate mis-interpretation of something that was published on their website He calls them "anti-police", which again is a false interpretation. They simply want some of the funding that goes to the police to instead be invested into disadvantaged communities to help people out of the socio-economic traps which make them turn to crime in the first place, which would mean less policing is needed in the long run. He accuses them of pushing a theory that ALL white people are racist and ALL black people are victims. I'm sure I don't need to point out to you how absurd this one is. As a previous poster just pointed out, this guy is a professional contrarian. He's the political equivalent of Alan Brazil on TalkSport. He'll say any old shite just to rile people and get them to disagree with him. He should never be the go-to person for objective truths about anything. The fawning over him from the news host in this clip is embarrassing.

Brendan O'Neill once again proving what a provocative and ignorant bellend he is. His opening statement about what BLM is is chock full of the same false claims used by many other people to deride and dismiss the movement.
-
I think that's a stretch. He certainly has ability and technically is not as bad as many on here have made out, but in reality he's no better than Jack Stephens.
-
It's been rumoured that he is planning to stage a rally where he will announce his plans to stand again in 2024, instead of attending the inauguration.
-
Disagree. Plenty of them would have turned out spoiling for a fight regardless. The video footage from the day clearly shows that. When it transpired that the people who they had ostensibly gathered to protect the monuments from had decided not to come, instead of just going home they started fighting with the police instead. Classy. I'm not condoning some of the vandalism that went on. Like I said, there was a minority of idiots ruining things for the majority as there always is. And I'm sure many of the patriots like your veteran friend were genuinely there to peacefully counter protest and were appalled at the behaviour of some of their own 'side'. You are trying to make out that the BLM demonstrators were all there to cause trouble and that the football lads were all virtuous, diligent protectors of the peace. This is blatantly untrue.
