  1. I'm told that due to budget constraints, this is going to be taken out of storage and installed in its place...
  2. Which part of the words "not the most likely" do you not understand?
  3. This. Quite how it has taken so many people this long to recognise that is beyond me*, because the evidence for it has been there for all to see ever since he first set foot into the public eye. He is, and always has been, a corrupt, entitled charlatan with no discernible talent for anything other than self promotion. It's tragic how many people were insisting in 2019 that Corbyn was "unelectable" and then went and voted for this shameless, incompetent prick instead. For all Corbyn's faults, of which he had/has many, at least he has a moral compass. Johnson has no redeeming qualities whatsoever. None. The last few years have been a very dark chapter in UK politics, and whichever side of the spectrum we sit on, we owe it to ourselves and our future generations to try and somehow work collaboratively to consign it to history and move on. * That's not aimed at you BTW Rallyboy. I'm very sorry for the hardship your family had to endure and it must boil your piss to see now that the man setting those rules was blatantly ignoring them himself.
  4. 15 managers in 10 years. Absolute shambles of a club. How they keep on managing to get themselves promoted is very puzzling.
  5. Especially when you consider how long he has been doing it for. You'd think the penny would have dropped by now!
  6. Dammit, I was hoping Watford would keep hold of Ranieri at least long enough to sack him after losing to us so we could make it a hattrick for him, but even that was wishful thinking it seems.
  7. Exactly. I used to get worse than that regularly on the old concrete playground at school. It was a scrape of the thigh, and it looks painful, but it was purely superficial and there wasn't enough force to cause any serious injury which is why VAR decided it didn't need to be upgraded to a red.
  8. In have to hold my hands up and take responsibility for that. Someone posted a rumour that we were looking at another young RB from Aberdeen (I think) and suggested it could be cover for an injured Tino. I merely raised the suggestion that if we are indeed looking for another RB then it would be more likely be to replace KWP who might be looking to move on having lost his place. There was never anything concrete that he definitely was so I'm sorry if that was the impression some got.
  9. They play each other next as well (at SJP)
  10. Given we had only 9 fit senior players this time last year when we played that game at OT, I'm pretty confident we won't 😉
  11. Bullshit paper talk then. These player swap deals never actually happen in reality.
  12. Given how long it took us to move off 29 points last season, I suspect it won't be too long before we see a positive swing in the match day comparison. +12 points in the head to head is very encouraging.
  13. He picked Rashford as well, who scored Utd's winner.
  14. I don't think they can do that half way through the season, for the same reason they can't recall him. Let's face it though, if he knows WH are going to put a big bid in for him in the summer then there's no chance we're gonna sign him permanently now 😥
  15. Just checked and it seems that Bruno Fernandez is the only outfield player out of this week's picks who didn't score at the weekend. Why the BBC still employ this clown is beyond me.
  16. Only because he scored. Crooks is such a Muppet, he seems to think that getting a goal is a better measure of a defender's performance than any actual defending they did. Nailed on that's why he picked Laporte ahead of Salisu as well.
  17. I think that was probably to our benefit last night though. Both checks came when we were under relentless pressure and they disrupted City's momentum and gave us a chance for a breather.
  18. Leicester, Brighton and Palace all dropping points is a good set of results for us.
  19. Can't agree with that. For someone his height, his lack of ability to win aerial duels is quite shocking.
  20. Yeah I guess. Would have been interesting if Broja had had the speed of thought to see it coming and nudge the ball away instead of trying to shoot. He'd have been in big trouble then.
  21. He can whinge all he likes about the dangerous tackle from Stu, but he should consider himself very lucky he got the ball earlier on when he went flying in to block Broja with both feet off the ground. Stu's may have been a painful one, but this could have been a leg breaker if he had got his timing wrong.
  22. Rewind 25-30 years and this would perfectly describe a certain other Saints LB, who went on to become a club legend. I was very impressed with Perraud last night. And with KWP showing what we have missed defensively on the other side AND contributing to our attack, I would be very surprised if Tino automatically gets his place back when he's fit. With a back 4 of Perraud, Salisu, KWP and any one of Bednarek, Stephens or Lyanco, our defence looks so much better than it was this time last year.
  23. It's just a flesh wound 😉
  24. He's got the highest number of assists out of anyone in our squad this season.
