  1. Did anybody watch the 'One Night Stand' special on BBC4 lastnight? ******* hilarious. I can't wait for the new series to begin in a few weeks. In fact I need to get hold of the DVD of the first series. One of the fuinniest shows in recent history.
  2. I think I have somehow contracted swine flu... I'm coming out in rashers
  3. Me too. I read in the Independent today that adverts for dodgy loans (like Ocean Finance) are to be banned. YIPPPEEEEEEE!!!!!
  4. Oh noooooo. You can never leave ;-) Cake?

    Ringo Starr

It seems that the Beatles are dying in order of talent. Oh well, at least Ringo knows he's got a few years left yet then.
  6. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W55dfJ79g0M Loltastic stuff
  7. Possibly the funniest thing ever on youtube
  8. Have just booked tickets to see Massive Attack at the 02 Academy in Sheffield in September. Been meaning to see them live for at least 10 years, so can't wait for that.
  9. I think that was the same year they gave the Spice Girls a lifetime achievement award. And they wonder why nobody takes it seriously any more
  10. Yeah I take your point. It's almost as bad as when the Brit Awards gave 'best dance act' to the Sugababes a few years back!:confused::confused:
  11. No, he really isn't. I saw him in Sheffield a while back and can't understand why everyone is so ready to suck his **** all the time. His production work is nothing more than average either. Your memory must be failing you mate. Red Alert wan't released until 1997
  12. MY excuses... 1. I live 200 miles away and a 7 hour round trip for a game of football, on top of the fuel cost, is not feasible for me. 2. I was made redundant a while back and I'm currently doing some crap temp work at not much more than minimum wage in order to make sure my mortgage gets paid and I have food on the table. A game of football, even one as important as tomorrow's at SMS, is waaaaaaaay down my list of priorities. 3. I have a gig in Leeds tomorrow night which I cannot cancel, will be earning money from, and have been looking forward to for ages. I wish I could be there to play my part, but I just can't.
  13. I'll have a go. Will be fun looking through my entire collection and coming up with something suitable for all tastes. I look forward to hearing some of these.
  14. Mr Wilde, you were more than happy to use this forum to further your own agenda back in 2006. Why have we not heard a single peep from you since it all went wrong? The very least you owe us, based on the promises you made at that time, is an explanation of your subsequent actions.
  15. Bombardier is a good bet. Very english and a fine ale as well.
  16. A good idea Scudamore, but I think we need to focus on something more worthy than the memorial day of someone who may or may not have existed, almost certainly didn't slay a dragon, definitely never even visited England, and whom we share as patron saint with numerous other countries.
  17. Pride in what exactly?
  18. Unless, of course, they manage to get Trevor Brooking on the committee deciding their fate. But surely something like that could never happen could it? ;-)
  19. Went to see The Prodigy at Sheffield Arena last week - Truly awesome show. I got a bit bruised down at the front though. Good to hear them do a few oldies from the Experience album as well as the new stuff.
  20. You mean we have a defence? Then where have they been all season up til now?
  21. Why is it, whenever I see this ultimate chav accessory in a car window (usually on Fiat Puntos with pink steering wheel covers and playboy bunny logos on the back) that there is invariably NOT a babe on board and the driver is in fact an 18-stone heifer? False advertising surely????
  22. Flavio Briatore has lost the plot... http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/2009/apr/17/jenson-button-briatore-concrete-post His comments about viewer interest show that he doesn't have a clue. I think most people I have spoken to about this year's championship are very happy about the fact that the usual suspects are not running away with the title and that it's the most interesting championship in years. Sorry Flav, you're off your trolley mate.
  23. I should hope so. Looking at the times on the above board, they could hardly be worse.
  24. What? This is a trilogy? I just got hold of Lords of the Bow and was about to start reading it, but I won't bother yet if it's the second part of a trilogy.

    Knowing

Coincidentally, the only good performance from Cage I have ever seen is the one in a film with your username in its title.
