Well tell Mr Newman he missed a cracker today!! It was a pleasure to see 4,000 passionate Saints fans behind the team. Even more so after the drivel he wrote

His arguement also seems a bit bizarre when he goes on to talk about 'the truly loyal support' of Newport County. I would guess Mr Newman that the loyal support you were rightly impressed with stems from fans of their club refusing to turn their back in spite of extremely tough times- we haven't even got close to that yet & he's already had enough. Anyway off to Reading in a bit with 4,000 or so 'blinkered Saints followers' as he puts it

****ing fantastic!!!!!!!! Still in shock, couldn't see a comeback on the cards in a million years especially after seeing the shambles at Swansea last week. And a winner in front of travelling fans with a pitch invasion to top it off- quality!! Have stopped running round the house like a lunatic now so off for celebration beers. Oh and the skates lose in the last minute, what a day!!!!

Our centre backs won very little in the air. Theirs won everything. Its been the same all season apart from possibly Cardiff away when Svensson looked dominant (well for 89 minutes anyway!) I'm afraid it doesn't matter how good a footballing side you are, unless you can compete physically you don't stand a chance. Cork tried as did Wotton but both are not out and out centre halfs and at the other end of the pitch yet again we looked lightweight. Wasn't a bad performance but I'm afraid we're not stong enough in key areas of the pitch and until we sort that side of it out we'll continue to struggle I fear

Struggling for words after that. Embarrassingly poor performance. Second to everything, no fight, no idea. Men against boys again. Poor atmoshphere from us despite a decent turnout. Not sure what the old bill were expecting but seemed totally over the top and helped to make this a day to forget!

Glad to hear it. You've had a pop at fans who attend regularly who are gutted to see falling attendances and a half empty ground and have dared to question why so many have dissapeared. I'd call that embarassing but there you go, we'll have to agree to disagree

Yes in my opinion. Your choice if you don't want to go anymore and in fairness if you don't find it enjoyable you're probably best off with the other 6/7/8 thousand who can't be arsed and who we'll no doubt see at the drop of a hat when/if the good times come again
