Could Rickie play for England?
Saintandy666 replied to Ivan Katalinic's 'tache's topic in The Saints
I doubt it will happen, but I guess he could do a Kevin Davies. We'd have to get promoted though and he'd have to have an impressive season or two. -
Something stinks about this whole affair. I reckon there will be MUCH more to come out on this affair. I could be wrong of course, but each day more is revealed.

Isn't he married? Not that that is a guarantee of heterosexuality, buy you know...

You can't just take your mate to work for day and on world trips... especially when the trips are on as sensitive information as he has to deal with. To add to this, Werrity got to act as his adviser so that is personal gain, if not financial gain via his 'charity'(which was run from Fox's office, now not a charity due to its dubious circumstances). And to add to this, I want to know how he afforded to go on 18 world trips. All in all, poor judgement and its not acceptable for someone in his job. If an Army Officer had bought his mate to meetings all the time, he would be out. Fox should go.

Sainsbury's, Tesco, Morrison's, Co-op, Waitrose all good for me. Not Asda, never Asda.

I agree!
-
That's me not reading the original post correctly ... I'll revise down to 7 out of 12 points!!!
-
I have to agree, and I wouldn't usually join in like I am with this post. But I am fed up of how posters like him are taking over threads with petty posts attacking others.

Na mate, I was born in the 30's... don't you know?
-
If we beat Derby and West Ham... or get more than 9 out of 15 points, then I will start to get excited.

Interesting to gear your views on her, and while I do agree with you in parts and your conclusion she is useless, probably wouldn't adhere to everything you said about her. But I agree, utterly useless though the EU referendum view is shared by a lot of Tory MP's.And I do think there should be a referendum, but not until the euro crisis is resolved. I think we would vote in stay in in it though. Also, your post didn't really address what I said regarding UKIP being 3rd...
-
Oh, you know... for about 25 years from the 60's to the 80's.

It won't happen. When push comes to shove, they will vote Tory... because they won't want to see Labour or the Lib Dems win in their respective seat... such is the wonder of FPTP. And I have to agree with you, Sayeeda Warsi is your weaklest link... along with Gove and Lansley any May. Hague, Johnson and maybe Cameron with some groups(not women at the moment!) are your stronger links. Osborne seems to blend into the background, perhaps worryingly for a man with such a big job.

Said more than that, but cool story bro.
-
That's a good point. You would have to be able to turn a blind eye to some very nasty treatment of people.
-
It'll be hot. If you can't handle constant heat, don't go. And it's not as free, but I hear from people I have met who have worked out there, it isn't a massive put off like it is in Saudi Arabia.

Brilliant and hilarious interview. Ones with Boris Johnson always are, but don't let his personality mask his politics!

I accept the vote of the AV referendum. I'm just saying it wasn't a fair fight on many levels(lies, financial etc, but that is a fault in referenda. Remember, all anyone objected to was AV, not electoral reform.
-
No, it's related. Because when the city gets behind the pro-EU vote and chucks money at it, you euro-sceptics will lose.
-
Thanks for your valuable contribution in the debate on whether financial muscle could influence referenda.
-
Considering the opinion polls prior to the campaign period... there is a real possibility it could have won if the money had been there. I'm not the greatest fan of AV anyways in comparison to STV and AMS. I saw it more as a stepping stone. But I think you lot all missed the point on the financial funding aspect. If the financial disparity is too large, then the side with the big spanky campaigns will win.
-
But it was very far ahead in opinion polls recently. It was only when the debate heated up that people changed their mind... so my point stands. It would have gotten through if the yes campaign had had any money. I worked on the campaign locally and I can tell you we had next to nothing to work with. In comparison the no vote had millions upon millions. Another problem with Referenda... more often than not they go the way of where the money is in the end. If the city is overwhelmingly pro-EU as people keep saying, I'd be surprised if an out vote is achieved.
-
I personally think in an 'In/Out' referendum, once the arguments are laid out and argued, the UK would vote to stay in. Just remember how far ahead AV was in the polls before the arguments were properly laid out in a massive public debate.
