I think this is a day for the Libyan people, not some ego trip by us. We can discuss our role in this at a later date.

This guy perpetrated terrorist attacks on UK soil(as well as funding the IRA)?! And you say RIP... are you trolling? I think you are.
-
Also, what was Harding playing? I didn't really get what he was doing... was he an attacking winger today or what?!
-
In retrospect, I see why Schneiderlin started and Cork didn't. I think Cork would have been pushed out of the match unfortunately, not his game today. And I am a massive Cork fan, he has made a big difference this year.

I'd say West Ham are the best team to visit St. Mary's so far this season, though we deserved to win still. But don't be too harsh on them, we really had to work for this victory in ways we haven't against other teams. I thought everyone played well. Guly had a slow start, but got into it. I was disappointed to hear Fonte getting some stick on the radio, when apart from one howler, he was excellent, especially in the air. Cork was a bit not raring to go when he was gone, almost looked not strong enough at times, but got into it, but I guess he is a flair player and not a muscles one and boy were some of the West Ham players massive! Special mention to Davis for his saves! Deserved win though.

Davis, without his saves, we would have been ****ed! But no-one had a bad game to be honest. A couple of players had bad moments, but recovered(i.e Fonte's howler and Corks first few touches)

I've been reading around that a lot of people in China are scared to help in situations like this because of the police state and they fear they will be blamed. Not really an excuse, basic humanity should override that.

Arhtoscopy's aren't too heavy and recovery time is fast because it's key-hole surgery.

I don't understand why they just walked past. They are bastards. Are dying toddlers something normal to see in the road? (that's a rhetorical question)

This website is amazing.

He's right though, our strength is our midfield. We have an incredible midfield, the best in the league. Defence not so much if you look at the stats.

Just watched Submarine. Absolutely brilliant. Craig Roberts in the lead part shines especially. Too many films with youngish actors are ruined by the quality of acting, but this film suffers none of that. The whole film is just a wonderful journey, but it is a bit depressing... at least I feel depressed by it, despite the somewhat hopeful ending. 9/10

According to saints twitter, looks like an arm was used to block Fonte's header on the line.

Getting better...

Our record without Lallana is awful. Today should be interesting.
-
That's true. I, and I guess everyone else has forgotten about him.
-
Basically we need another striker as back up. We can't rely on Connolly's fitness(however brilliant he has been this season), or Barnard because of court case etc...

Eastern Europeans are doing the jobs that a lot of people in this country simply don't want to do. I don't think it is as simple as people think it is. There is also a severe lack of jobs in many places.
-
Ok, let me rephrase. We don't need him, but he'd help us a lot.
-
He should still be picked. We'll get to quarters without him and then we really will need him.

Mutually Assured Destruction... the problem with it is that it only takes one nutter, i.e the Taleban or Al-Qaeda types to get hold of one nuclear bomb(i.e some in Pakistan) to **** everything up. Better would be no Nuclear Weapons, but then I guess a country could create some and hold everyone to ransom, it's a hard choice. I'd prefer the second one.

Can you pass the UK citizen test?
Saintandy666 replied to anothersaintinsouthsea's topic in The Lounge
Did it yesterday, got 15. Stupid test anyway, and I don't just say that because I failed. It's a stupid test because it involves nothing that will help you actually live and integrate within this country. -
Not that I am in any way an expert on the Royal Navy, but do you not think that the way in which wars will be fought in the future is fundamentally different to how they have been fought over the past 100 years... what with the advent of bigger and nastier weapons like the nuclear bomb and unmanned craft...

So how did Cameron not know about Werrity?! So Fox is shadow Health Secretary and Werrity sets up a Health Business with him. Fox is then Defence Secretary and they set up a defence business. Abuse of position to get contracts?
