  1. Wait, was it a police officer who gave you a yellow card/slip?! Pretty sure bouncers have no authority in ASBO area.
  2. I wouldn't worry about yellow cards. It is in no way half way to ASBO unless they decide you are a special case. I've had them before, and people I know have had more than one.
  3. Not really.
  4. I don't think it will be so easy for another Miliband to come in.
  5. I dislike Sadiq Khan. He is obsequious in relation to Ed Miliband.
  6. Again, I can tell you don't play tennis. It is extremely physically demanding. It is in no way a 'softer sport'.
  7. If anything it's more a journey going from rich to poor and then realising the importance of the welfare state.
  8. I think he is a top Championship defender. I'm not sure whether he can step up to the premiership or not, but I have always thought this. Time will tell.
  9. They are laying into Rory Weal now(the Mail and that...), but to be honest it seems as if what he said is the truth... so what if he was rich before the recession... his house still got repossessed and what not!
  10. You clearly don't play tennis(and if you do, not at a proper standard) if you don't think it is gruelling. It is bloody hard work.
  11. Yep, though Andrew Neil was having a go at Ed Balls about it saying it was a gimmick as any profit is predicted to be about £3bn, so not much in the grand scheme of things. The banks should go for a hefty amount though which will help to reduce interest payments instantly.
  12. Shock horror. Turns out Cortese isn't alone then...
  13. I'm not sure if that is trolling or not... But they would probably cut tax, like get rid of the 50% tax band. Parties like the Liberal Democrats and Labour would probably either cut taxes for the poorer or invest in the welfare state with any surplus money.
  14. If the banks are doing well, and we make a slight profit... probably, though there is no guarantee of that the state the economy is in at the moment. Imo, if there is a profit, there should either be a one off rebate to everyone or just use it to further pay off the deficit.
  15. It has for one term... but really unless they bring in a rigid constitution like the US(which they won't), it really is quite meaningless. When Labour get back in in a decades timeish max(Oh politics, you are predictable), they won't go for 5 years, they want 4 year terms(at least that is what they say on record), which sounds better.
  16. It's meant to be binding for this parliament, so they would have to pass another bill in the next parliament again. 5 years is too long really. Anyways, due to the nature of our constitution it is barely binding... if a majority in Parliament wanted an election, they could repeal that law and trigger an election. So a vote of no confidence could still happen, but bar that the election is 2015... so no going to the polls after 4 years if you are doing well.
  17. Come over to the Lib Dems We might be able to suppress them for that entire time. A pure Tory government scares me.
  18. In terms of public speaking, Ed Miliband is probably the worst. Just ahead of him is Cameron, and then Clegg is miles ahead in lead. Not that it will do him much good mind. Remember, it's the substance that counts though, not the style!
  19. He is legitimate apparently. And to be honest, he is a product of economic liberalism... leave the markets to get on with it and you get guys like this basically. This is why there is a need for a greater balance between the markets and the state... as they are motivated by different things.
  20. He's much more than a representative. He has total control, the Liebherr's provide the money, but Cortese has total control over the club. He isn't some spokesman.
  21. Oh jeeeze, must be true then. If this actually happened it would have come out by now from a reliable source, not some bull**** forum thread.
  22. Positive discrimination doesn't work. It attacks the symptoms, not the cause.
  23. I would not discuss my life with some random old my man on an open internet forum. Out of interest, what should a teenager be doing then?
  24. Not the NHS I recognise.
  25. I think we both have enough time to have a healthy interest in current affairs(as it should be) and do 'mad things' as well. You really do have a chip on your shoulder.
